Hello - encountering lots of glitches when listing ( can’t save changes to renewed listing, can’t upload pics, can’t send discounts, can’t change category for copied listings etc - lists goes on.
have recently updated my iPhone to 17.2.1 is this a known problem?
I am up to date with Etsy app- nightmare trying to work, when it keeps crushing
any update team Etsy?

Try using a browser instead.
and use the old lister.
@DesDesVintage: There are innumerable threads on this forum about issues with the app. Have you tried using your (mobile) browser instead?
The app is worthless. Etsy seems to have no I retest in fixing it.
I would use a browser on your phone rather than the app. While some seem to have no issue, it is not known how Etsy updates the spp for updated phones.
If you are using the new listing form, try using the old one. The new one is full of glitches. The old one not so much.

Thx everyone - have used both old and new template - I noticed if I tried to change categories for renewed item, it does not work so I go on my laptop to fix it - it definitely slows down listing process. Neither works well for me to be honest - both glitchy the old one less so.
I use the app often because of photos, they upload quicker on the app than on browser on my mobile phone.
anyhow before the new app, things actually worked. I just don’t understand why Etsy finds it okay to not fixt basic problems of their site including how it has become impossible to change layout and categories and featured items …. Is the reason they have made the forum private because they don’t want the public to know about the problems and complains?
Your problems are due to this particular seller app, not due to the listing forms or to the Etsy website. This latest seller app is notoriously awful.
The "new" seller app is crap.
Use a browser if all you have is a mobile device (phone, tablet, etc).
The listing forms seem to be an even mix of hate it or love it.
I hate it. Clunky, slow and not even close to streamlined.
Others love it.
Personal preference.
But everything works much better in a browser than the app which is pretty much only good for notifications and checking in on the fly.
