Loads of Issues, Site Blocked

These issues may be related, but I am not tech-savvy, so I've no clue:

  1. I have received two Etsy messages that tell me to respond to the message with the email associated with my Etsy account. But Etsy already knows my email address, I have used it since day one. So the first message I sent to spam. Then I got another one, today or yesterday, telling me the same thing. No one can order until I send my email. I sent that person a message back, not giving my email address, but rather telling the sender that I do not trust the message and to prove they are from Etsy.
  2. My husband went to search in Duck Duck go by using my newer, etsy suggested, url for my shop. Now it is blocked from all people searching for anything inside my shop, (any listings), and, anyone who types in that address, and all the recent listings have that address at the bottom of my pages, so it is now, nearly completely blocked from people:
  3. Here is the message on the URL that Etsy prompts us to use:
    Spoiler
    The shop is blocked,
(www.linkisprintables.etsy.com), and the message says, "
    Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.linkiprintables.etsy.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more

    NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID"

My URL www.etsy.co,/shop/linkisprintables works fine, I believe, but I can't tell with these cookies everywhere for so long.

    4. Etsy search for my site brings up this newer Etsy shop with my url but no middle address "linksprintables" which is more like playing favorites and my listing is not shown, just the one without the "I", not even my url with the "i" in the search can beat this guy who is advertising his main, non etsy site "thang.com

Wait, I have one more thing to try, okay, anyway,  my site has been under attack non-stop by an Etsy employee trying since the summer to hurt me. He did eventually - because I disputed successfully the copywriting accusations, the stuff was mine, no, it is not this company's trademark, but heck, a LOT of sellers are, etc., BUT THEN ON SEPT 1ST, MY BABY GIRL DIED and I couldn't keep up with the constant attacks on the shop. My only daughter was crushing me, and Etsy dude from support would not stop harassing me. So I am no longer able to ever get a star seller badge no matter whatever. So I thought it was over, at least he'd stop,  but maybe this is just one more way this guy is trying to take me down. He's such a mean guy, I haven't done anything wrong, but now lost badges, and because of his many Attacks in any way he could think of, I hope it is not him blocking the site in a whole new way. He's already done enough damage, and my only child comes first
    3. Another seller with a shop page directing people to his other website, uses linksprintablews, and that url shows up when I search for my own, it's my url minutes the "i"

The forum software does that with everything that isn't straight forward text.  All you do is just hit "enter" again and it goes through.

Re: Loads of Issues, Site Blocked

Ok, first the original e-mail sent to you wanting your e-mail is most likely a scam. If you read the forums you will know that scammers are out in full force. Etsy will never ask you for your e-mail because they have it. I am not sure about the rest of it. Your shop looks fine on my end. Did you give them any info or click on any links in the e-mail? I am afraid you may have been hacked. Regarding invalid HTML it was your copy-paste, nothing sinister. I am very sorry about the loss of your daughter.

Re: Loads of Issues, Site Blocked

Your shop is not blocked, and your shop and listings are indexed.  Your shop showed up when doing a search on Etsy, Google and DuckDuckGo when using ''LinkisPrintables etsy''.    I was also able to view your shop with only "LinkisPrintables'' and then clicking ''Did you mean the shop LinkisPrintables?''

What was the ''newer etsy suggested'' url?  With all the scamming going on, are you sure it was actually Etsy suggesting it?  If it was wrong, then that could be the reason why it didn't show up for your husband.  Another reason could be the security settings you have enabled.

Why do you think it was an actual employee of Etsy who was harassing you?  Could it have been an Etsy seller or a scammer pretending to be from Support?

As you were told in your Critique on Saturday, you do have a lot of infringing going on.  Just because ''but heck, a LOT of sellers are...''  infringing on popular characters and celebrities does not make it right.  That's a very weak argument.

My condolences for your loss.

@TheVintagePineapple The url thing confused me too and I just reread about the Etsy employee. It all seems weird. Glad someone else chimed in because I am going to bed.

Re: Loads of Issues, Site Blocked

There was a big 6 line pink warning message, put under your messages section, informing you of scams, and that if the messages was not also in the "From Etsy" folder, on the left hand side, then it was not from etsy

You had to click to say you read it, before the warning message went away.

....

so

1 is a scam

2 is a scam

3. Is the site warning you it's a scam

4. you are not searching properly, see above post from thevintagepinapple

.....

this is the message you did not read...................

How to spot and report scams in Messages

If you get a suspicious message asking you to leave our site to share personal info or complete orders, make sure to mark it as spam. Keep in mind:

  • Buyers never need your email to purchase an item.
  • Real messages from Etsy always have a badge or "Etsy staff" label.
  • Etsy Support won't call you unless you've requested a call from our Help Centre.
OK, got itLearn more about scams

    which goes here

    https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000343128-How-to-Handle-Scams-and-Suspicious-Messages?seg...

    extract........

Authentic messages from Etsy always appear in a From Etsy inbox and are clearly labeled "From Etsy" below the subject line. If someone claims to be an Etsy employee and the message is not located in the From Etsy folder, mark the message as spam and don't reply.

.... I would read all of it now

Re: Loads of Issues, Site Blocked

As others have stated you are being. targeted by Scammer, you have not been in communication with Etsy,

Do a full sweep and clean of you computer and any device you use including malware

Check your cookies are and delete any which look suspicious

If you gave an banking information contact your bank and make them aware

If you gave out your email check and block anything you receive which appears suspicious

In future NEVER open any attachments unless you definitively know they are safe

Id recommend staying up to. date with all official Etsy communications and checking this forum regularly .

Id also suggest reading theses forum posts

Re: Loads of Issues, Site Blocked

Unfortunately DUck Duck go is not a browser Etsy supports.  They support the larger browsers so Duck may be giving you false information.

You may have fallen victim to a scam.  It is not Etsy employees unless the message is in the folder marked Etsy.

You may want to check your POD partner to see if that business has had issues.

As a relative new shop with sales you are prone to hacking attempts.  Etsy has vital information posted to help discern.  Please read the applicable information.  Etsy is not simply a place to list.  A seller needs to keep abreast of developing issues and information on Etsy.
