For the past hour I have been unable to renew my listings. While it says it renews and charges the .20 USD renewal fee, the item itself does not renew. Anyone else having this issue?
I too can't renew..it says It renewed.. but doesn't. I checked my finances and at least it is not charging me for the listings. I can copy the listing and create a brand new listing and that works just fine.
@BuyfromGroovy: Based on the many recent threads in this forum there is a longer than normal lag in some listings being renewed, etc. The actual charge to your financials also seems to lag.

Ok.. I'm having the same issue.. weirdly items I did renew a couple days ago that DID get renewed say they were done today.. but I didn't renew those items.. This makes me very nervous.. as I don't want to be charged double or triple because I tried to "renew" one listing several times.. ugh... so much NONSENSE going on.. are they just trying to tank the whole site?? and to quote the Swedish Chef...

I tried repeatedly to renew several items also. Still shows them in the expired, it didn't charge my finances but I'll keep an eye on it to see if there is a lag or if this is yet another glitch going on.
@RobinsNestQuilts2016: The charge does not seem to hit finances until the listings is actually renewed - the lag is affecting the entire process.

Had the same issue. I did a listing renew on my phone app and it worked straight away.

Renewed, or so it seemed. But the renewed items don't change. So far, I haven't been charged anything.
Same here.....whtat the heck Etsy! not a week can go by without some major stuff up. Listings cant be renewed now. One minute it says they are renewed, but then on looking they havent been, and go through the same cycle again. Or it just says "try again". The only way around seems to be copy and list as new listings. Also listings that have been deleted are re-appearing to be re-listed!!!

Same, I tried to activate a couple dozen listings from draft and although it looked like it went through, they did not activate.

Same issue here and now I am dreading seeing my fees for trying to double or triple renew items that wouldn't "go". I was able to list new items and those showed up in my charges immediately.
I did find a workaround. It is time consuming if you have lots to renew, but you can click on the expired ones and do them one by one inside the listing (do not use the main dashboard function, just go in to the expired listing and act like you are going to edit it then renew...)
I guess I'll be eating a lot of extra fees this month.
If you have the app on your phone you can renew listings that way.
The listings don't show as the most recent listings on your shop front, but it does renew them so you can keep selling.
That also count for changing prices for multiple listings - there is some lag - now after waiting approx. 45 min. the changes begin to appear...!
I asked tech support and this is the reply I got about refunding the duplicate fees.
"In this regard, I would like to inform you that there is no option to reverse the fees once the payment made."
Wait, what?! Am i understanding this correctly? if they double charge us they won't or can't refund us?
And then there's this twist. The only way I could get a sold out listing to relist, after it failed twice by using the drop-down menu on my sold out listings page, was to open the listing up and renew at the bottom of the page. I have checked my payment account page and was not charged three times, only once, instead of like the relist issue I went through a couple of days ago, which is the original topic here, That time I went to the help desk right away, who investigated and refunded my account for the $.20 relist fee that didn't take. Apparently you can take care of that immediately if you have the SSB, otherwise you have to wait until the chat icon shows up on your dashboard, which I think is truly unfair.
I had bulk resisted 40 items. I got a refund for 15....that was the "best" they would do for me.
I'm having the same problem. I've tried renewing one of my more popular items for the last hour. I was finally able to renew it on my phone app so it's now active again. Hopefully when they get this problem fixed it doesn't renew it (and charge me) several times.
