My listings are not automatically renewing after someone orders the item, I have to go to my "listings" and manually renew after every order.
Hi, Do you have more than a Qty. of !? Also, are your listings set on "Automatic Renewal"? (in Shop Mgr. > Listings > Editing Options > Manual Renewal).
I have seen Threads where people say Etsy has automatically changed their listing to Auto Renewal (when they want Manual Renewal). So they have to go in periodically and change it to Manual Renewal, and make sure it sticks.
Hope this helps in some way.
Mine are all set to "automatic renewal" and there are over 500 available in the quantity box. So that's not the issue
Even those with quantity or just those with quantity of one.
It may not renew if you don't have quantity set up for each variation. Each variation has to have a quantity of how many. How to Add Variations for Your Listings – Etsy Help
You are using variations with quantities not plain quantities. Unless you click “ I offer more than one” they will not automatically renew.
This is something new that just started happening a few hours ago and I have not made any changes to my listings but I am happy to check what you mentioned, where do I find that field? I cannot seem to locate "I offer more than one" to see if that is the issue.
Go to the listing, click edit and scroll down.
There is nothing in my listings that gives me that option, at the bottom it has a "manual" and "automatic" renewal option and mine have always been set on automatic and every time someone places an order it is automatically renewed. Now, when someone places an order and I click the listing link to look at the design so I can make the proof, the listing does not even exist. I have to go to my listing manager, click expired listings to locate it and than in red it says "this listing did not renew" so I have to manually renew it.
Auto renew is only for when listings expire after 4 months. If you want a listing to renew when it sells, you must have quantity more than one.
Edited to add: I just saw your reply that your quantities are set more than one, so this must be a glitch.
there is definitely a new bug in the system since they changed the "processing time" selection. I havent found a solution yet but have been having the same issue as you!
Thanks goodness that it isn't effecting my shop yet. I hope it gets resolved quickly for everyone that is experiencing this problem.
This is effecting my shop! We went from almost 1k views yesterday to around 75% decrease today and I could not figure out WHY we have a huge drop-off...Thanks for bringing this up!! We have likely lost $1k+ in sales today due to this bug.
I am also having this problem with my shop as well. I have to manually renew all my sold listings, even though they're set to automatic renewal every time it's sold making it a headache and a potential loss of sales as I have to remember every time to renew it I am unsure what is happening. I've made sure that it's set to auto renewal. I've said it to manual and they sent it back to auto renewal. I've been trying to search many of things and I'm just not finding any help. Maybe it is a bug I'm unsure, but this has been really annoying to me and making my business process really hard to keep up with manually renewing a listing every single time it sales.
Auto renew is only for expiring listings, not sold listings. You must set quantity at more than one if you want it to renew when sold.
We have found a solution I think. We went to calculated shipping instead of the standard rate of "free"+allowing upgrades and our listings have starting renewing again.
I have also the same problem...
