Hi Etsy Support,
I’m experiencing an issue that started after the recent update where processing times were added to each item. My listings are not automatically renewing after a sale, even though:
Auto-renewal is enabled on every listing
Each listing has quantity set to 200
All items are made-to-order and 3D printed
The listings are not digital and have not expired
Instead, after each sale, the listing deactivates and I have to manually renew it. This is becoming very disruptive to my business as I miss out on sales if I don’t catch it in time.
This issue never occurred before the recent platform changes and seems to now happen consistently. Can you please look into this or let me know if there's anything I need to do differently? I really want to resolve this so my listings can stay active and I can focus on fulfilling orders rather than monitoring for unexpected deactivations.
Thank you,
Anthony
That's a new glitch. For years we've been having the glitch work the opposite way where manual orders were automatically renewing.
Yes, here's someone else with the same problem today.
Listings are not automatically "renewing" after so... - Welcome to the Etsy Community
Etsy is not here in the forums. You need to contact Etsy to let them know.
You may have to fill in the variations with quantity. Such as you have so many red, so many blue, etc. That might be why it is no longer renewing.
I have exactly the same problem. It all started after newest update... I also have auto-renewal and quantity set to 99. It happens to things made to order as well as ready to ship.
@CDForge: The auto / manual renew option only affects renew on expiration - all listings should renew on sale if the remaining quantity is greater than zero. Based on the number of threads on this subject there seems to be a major glitch affecting some sellers.
Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).
I’m having the same issue!! It’s super frustrating, having customers message me that they had the item saved and went back to purchase and it’s gone.
@CDForge , @MaciLooMakings - This appears to be an issue many of us are experiencing, including myself. I created a thread on it yesterday that an Etsy community manager has chimed in on. You may want to check that out and post there too.
This is happening to me as well! Very frustrating. I have reached out to etsy but they have not come up with a solution yet.
@JupitersPlans - Same, please chime in on the other thread where the community manager is with your support ticket #. I figure it helps to have all of these issues in one place.
