Why in the name of anything you want to think of, do Etsy do this every year just before the holiday season????? The one time of year when there is a chance of getting more sales and they always find a way to p*** sellers off! Please Etsy! Stop messing with the site in November and December and then maybe sellers will have that lovely, happy Holiday feeling for once! Getting totally fed up with all of this messing!
And the funny (NOT) thing of all this is that Etsy said they wanted shipping to be below the $6 mark ... many sellers complied with that request ... and now just look at what Etsy has done ... they have completely hidden the shipping info all together!
No shipping displayed, and no delivery location showing on my shop front. So I went to check my Delivery settings to see if there was a new toggle... I just get a red banner that says "Oh dear! Something went wrong - please try again"... sounds like a glitch to me
I could have sworn yesterday that some of my shipping profiles had reset to their previous settings. Is it too much to ask that people leave the code alone in November/December?
Oh boy, so it's a glitch in progress! Earlier today shipping cost was visible on the item page, but there was no info for the whole cart, now I can see the shipping for the cart, and none on the item page. I'm pretty sure it's not only inconvenient, but in many countries also illegal.
Dear Etsy, could you please freeze all your site "upgrades" and other experiments until February next year?
I've had something sat in my basket for a couple of days, price was $90. Just checked the listing and it is now showing $108 and no shipping price. When I go to visit it in my basket it is still showing $90. Delivery cost at checkout is and always has been the exact same cost of $13.90. Very weird. Also can't find a 'contact seller' option on the page for the listing, is that new too?
Just been in touch with the seller, she hasn't changed any prices. Have made my own post in the bugs section because the prices seem to be messing up on certain items all over Etsy. Showing different prices after being added to the basket. What is happening??
