@TBQSC This reminds me of when the former CEO gave his people free reign to test out anything they wanted at any time. THis feels just like that . Someone is trying something and it is not working.

Over five hours later and still no resolution? Every Shop I have looked at this morning (Aust time) has absolutely nothing below the Description. No Shipping Costs, no Ships from Location, no Policy information, no EDD information etc.......
Looks like all the Engineering Team had an early night. Either that or they are all looking for the person who hit the wrong button so they can work out how to undo the mess.
Same. What an awful thing to mess with this time of year! This is not good for buyer trust! It makes shipping costs seem sneaky. I was trying to shop here earlier and didn't want to add every item to my cart to see the cost so I just gave up.
I hope this gets sorted soon as 1) as a buyer I like knowing how much shipping is and 2) as a shop owner I am more likely to get more 'cancel my order' as 'I did not see the postage price'.
It is also way too hard to see where the item is shipping from as well.
The other thing I am seeing on my listings today is that NONE of the tags I see for my items are the tags that I used. The ones I used are hidden. All the tags I see for my items are completely unrelated to the item and take you out of my shop to a search that likely won't include my item.
@EightMileVintage That's been going on for a long while now...at least for me. Supposedly our own tags are still relevant. At least that's what others seem to think. Most of the tags that Etsy puts in our listings make no sense at all. Crazy.
@wilshepherd Do you mean you see my shipping? I just went back in, and mine is still missing.
Something else that is weird (unless I just never noticed before); "Item Details" is at the top (above "Highlights"). But to the Right of "Item Details" is an upward pointing arrow. When I click onto it, my Description collapses and disappears. When I click it again, my Description comes back. I saw this earlier and couldn't remember seeing it before.
I came to the Forums to see what was happening with the shipping prices missing. @wilshepherd are you seeing shipping prices? If so it's by user and not a mistake. Etsy's middle name is lack of transparency so I wouldn't be surprised they are trying it out and they will have no idea how many people left instead of putting something into the cart to see if they could find the price there. I didn't even want to do that.
This is ridiculous! A customer contacted me with, "thanks. Double checking - it's ____". The price she gave was the exact price of the product. I thought that was weird because we all know how much shipping costs adds. So I thought something funky had happened to my listing so checked the shipping profile. Nope, it was still correct. So I checked out some other ships and Etsy is showing shipping cost on any of them! No wonder that customer contacted me! She knew before she did that the price was too good to be true.
Etsy, please, please stop messing with the site during holiday shopping months!!!!!!!!!!!
