Hi guys. Long story short, I had two of my bestsellers taken down due to a copyright notice that was actually a phishing scam. I submitted a counternotice as well as reporting it to the FTC and contacting Etsy. Unfortunately more than 10 business days have passed and I have not heard from either Etsy or the scammer. Has this happened to anyone before? Should I just repost my listings since the allotted time has passed or could something else be going on? I've made sure to check my spam folders multiple times. This is my first time submitting a counternotice so I'm not sure what to do once the time has passed. My main listings are still unable to be activated. It seems Etsy has been increasingly difficult to get a hold of this year to the point where I doubt they will respond at all. Much help appreciated.
A counternotice can take 10-15 days. The DMCA that I filed a counternotice to took 12 days. I would wait until the full 15 days have gone by before I started to worry. Etsy put the item back up without me doing anything besides the counternotice.

Never relist without permission.
You have a tremendous amount of sales, the last thing you want is Etsy to close your shop down.
You'll have to be patient.
The terms in the counternotice confirmation states,
"If, within 10 business days, they do not inform Etsy of an action seeking a court order against you, then you may reactivate or repost the material specified in the counter notice at your discretion. Please note, activating or reposting the material before this time may result in the loss of account privileges."
It says I can reactive or repost after the time has passed. It's been well over ten days too. Problem is I have no way of knowing if the timeline is exact or if I need to wait for some sort of confirmation. It's vague and I don't see hearing from Etsy any time soon which is why I'm asking here to see if anyone has any experience. Have you gone through this before?

Thank you. It's been 13 days so I suppose I'll just keep waiting :3 I know they're revamping their legal department but I wasn't sure if it was an automatic system or what.
If you make new listings, you will lose all the favorites etc associated with those best selling items.
Etsy has still disabled the listings since you cannot relist them..
Did you try to contact them here?
Yes... I've contact them there, more than once actually, and I got a copy paste response from their specialists that showed they didn't actually read my issue.
Just wanted to update in case anyone else goes through this. I waited the extra time suggested and today I noticed the restrictions were no longer on my two listings.
Going through this now, it has been 14 days since I filed the counter-notice :'D
I was having the same exact issue, filed the counter notice and received confirmation that it was filed. 12 days later, listings are still marked "inactive" and unable to be activated. I guess I will keep waiting. The Etsy support has definitely tanked over the last year.
Same thing happened to me yesterday. I checked out the link the guy provided to all of the listings that were copied, and mine were not there. But, I saw hundreds of Etsy seller's bundles that he had stolen. They are best sellers, so it appears this guy is targeting best sellers. He is based in the Ukraine and simple attacking stores, and typically only best selling listings. He left an email that is fake, a link to an account for protectmywork.com and login information. The entire thing smells like a scam, and I sent a counter notice. He is claiming I stole digital art of his, and ironically, all of it was custom orders I created which I own the copyright to.
