My listing photos are much bigger now then before.
I make them so it fits in the listing but now all my photos do not fit anymore in the listing.
What happens??
Etsy has an Announcement where they said listing photos were going to be in square format. But to make them optimal for both square and rectangle format. And the shortest side should be at least 2,000 px (however, squares do not have a shorter side:) I'm seeing rectangles on my Home Page (square as well). Some of my photos are chopped off some in the square format.
Let me see if I can find that Announcement.
Here you go. It was under Announcements, on the second page.

Thank you.
For me, this means that I have to edit or rephotograph almost 500 listings because I have already photographed them large and parts of them are now missing. That sucks!
@KennlyDesign I agree with FallenAngelBrass; your photos are beautiful! Honestly, I don't think you need to do anything.
ETA: I saw your post about your bracelets. It does chop inward a little, but the main part of the bracelet is showing. Etsy changes things so much; who knows if the photos will be changed again. I decided not to do anything with mine.
The forum was full of sellers who initially saw flaws in their now-square photos but now seem to have acclimated to the change. I recommend giving yourself a month or so to get used to the square versions. Your photos look great to me. No need to contort yourself because of this.
Thank you! but there are a lot of photos of which the bracelets have now been cut off, this is not nice (unfortunately I have to work on that again to get this neat)
