Listing is showing as sold out when it is Active

For the past week or so I have had customers message me about not bein able to purchase listings.

I will send them the link to the active listing and it will show up as sold out for them and for me. Its showing up but then when you click on it, it says sold out. This is happening on the app and the web.

Check your variations. If you have different stock amounts for different colors etc. and the color that they selected is sold out, they will get the Sold Out message. Happens to me sometimes if I ran out of a certain pearl color and forgot to add more to the inventory amount in the "Manage Variations" section.

This glitch is happening for weeks now...had a customer messaging me yesterday that an item was sold out when it wasn't. Contacted support and they said that everything was OK. What I did was change the quantity available for 2 for the buyer could buy the item, this usually works. I don't know how many sales I lost with this, most buyers won't message you and move on. This is happening since the new listing form is going. Always renew your items in the browser and not in the app.

UGGG.  Just got caught in this web!!! A very good seller shows as active in my listings and visible in my shop appearing to be active but when it is clicked on, it shows SOLD OUT!  I don't want to think about how much this one has cost me in lost revenue and now feel like I have to go through all 500 listings in my shop to see if this is happening to others.

Took forever to get a response from Chat and, as usual, they asked me to Sign out and back in to my Etsy account. • Temporarily disable browser add-ons, along with any antivirus and malware software. • Try uninstalling and reinstalling any browsers you've already tried. • Try deleting Etsy related cookies and cache. * Do a layout back handspring with a triple twist....

In the end they referred it to the "technical team".  Realizing that it will be days or weeks if ever that I hear back from these guys, I started poking around in the forums and found LOTS of people have had this issue. (Seems to be related to the new listing manager. Big surprise). Finally edited the listing and changed the quantity to "2" instead of "1" and now it no longer appears to be sold out.

I'm having the same issue. I tried renewing, but it was still showing "sold out" when it was not.  Thank you for the suggestion. Changing the quantity to "2" worked for me as well.

I saw some of my items  on Pinterest, when I clicked the links , some shows sold out too.

I am having exactly the same issue and I have only realised today. I am hoping it can be fixed soon, it's so hard to even get in contact with Etsy to report things like this

Etsy has burned me with this issue on multiple items that are good sellers. I'm sure it has cost me a good amount in sales. So frustrating. They prefer change for the sake of change and ignore maintaining basic functionality.

Glad you posted this! Same just happened to me! So it’s still going on I hope I haven’t lost revenue from this.
