Hi All ! I have been a seller on Etsy for 15 years. I am in need of help ! I am unable to reach anyone through Email or support ticket .It only sends an automated response .
In April I was sent an email stating a listing was deactivated by the Etsy system due to creativity standards. No listings were deactivated and I messaged Chat for help . They too did not find anything deactivated . All listings were listed as before , all was well. I was sent an email on August 23rd stating a listing was deactivated for Etsys Creativity Standards . I reached out to chat they said someone would be getting back to you via email. I have been waiting for 2 weeks and never once received an email to appeal . While I was waiting to receive an email another one of my listings was taken down. It is very frustrating , there is no way to get a hold of someone to appeal any of the take downs. Which Josh Silverman said Back in May of 2024 , Etsy Sellers would be able to appeal listing removals . I have already gone through this with proof of how I make my items back in 2015.
After searching for answers in the forums. I think It could possibly due to our photos being stolen and used on other sites as well as Etsy including photos and my words with only a couple of words changed.
When doing a reserve photo look up I also found an Amazon store showing my photos for items that are not in their shop anymore. Also, a blogger has linked the same photo that was removed to my shop of her favorite things to purchase from us . I do not know how the Etsy system works and was wondering if that could be the cause of the removal of the listings?) I am at a loss and looking for someone to help or ETSY Admin to help escalate this so we can resolve our issue.
This is very upsetting and all of us Etsy Sellers work very hard to provide great service to our customers and hope that Etsy will provide the same service when we are in need of help.
