Listing details not saved

Hi,

I have some issues saving changes to the title and description of copied listings right now. I change one part and click save and after editing the next part of the listing the changes are gone or the changes are displayed, but after clicking publish the listing appears with the same title as the listing I copied.

Anyone else having this problem? It's present in the app as well as in the browser.

@CuriousCoon: There are lots of threads in this forum about issues with saving / publishing listings. Have you tried using the "old" listing form via a browser?

It's happening in every way I can connect to etsy. 

It happens while editing like the old text is reloaded into the text mask. And it happens after saving changes. It just restores the old listings texts.

Seems to be a problem on the server side since on every device or app or physical  location.

I haven't had any technical  problem with this until today. The app is bad, but it worked.

So it doesn't seem to be related to older issues.

It's the new form, isn't it?  I had everything disappear without being able to save, so nope - not doing that again until it's fixed.

Only title and description seem to be affected. Changing images, price, stock and everything else works just fine. 

After a lot of trying it works, but etsy should really look into their systems... They obviously have some serious problems with their infrastructure.

Right there with you… for over a week now. I’ve been saving photos from the app on my phone and then logging onto my computer to fill in the details. It’s really annoying.

Yes, same except different changes not saving. Mine only does it to price and quantity - everything else saves fine. I have to edit it a second time to get those changes to stick.

I have the same problem. Etsy support advises same things again and again,clear your cache, switch between new and old version and other useless things. I tried everything including different laptops and browsers. No result. Could you solve your problem?

I'm experiencing the same problem since several weeks.  Whether I use the old version, new version, different browsers, different devices, .... changes I make to descriptions or titles just won't save. I contacted etsy a while ago and their reply was that the engineering team is currently working on it, they don't have a timeline for when it will be resolved, they prioritise based on their impact on members.

Well it’s October now and it’s just started happening to me. Trying to find a link so I can contact Etsy support.

I am having the same issue, which is worrying as we are now almost October 23. How did you all manage to resolve it? Mine appears to only be when I use the Etsy sellers app on my iPhone. Very frustrating as so much easier than on my ipad or lap top.

Same. Just started happening a few days ago (late September), and it is infuriating. I now have to write out listing descriptions in my Notes, then after listing the item copy/paste from my notes to the listing and re-save it. Annoying and absurd. Why the “new and improved” app is doing this I have no idea, and it most definitely is NOT improved.

I am experiencing this same problem. It is VERY frustrating. It takes time to edit listings, and to have my work “disappear” after saving it is infuriating. To the Etsy “powers that be”- what is being done about fixing this issue?

I am having the same problem since October 1st. I've been editing the details in my web browser after uploading from the mobile app to get around it. So time consuming and frustrating, Etsy needs to fix this ASAP!

I tried to change my title several times on a posting & the old title stays in the Main posting.. although it changes in some views.  Did anyone find out what to do about this?
