One of my listings has been deactivated, but I have not received any email notification explaining the reason for this action. I’ve checked all folders including spam/junk, but found nothing.
Could you please help me understand why the listing was deactivated and how I can resolve the issue to have it reinstated?
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance on this matter.
@BridalDreamsbyArfa: You need to keep in mind that "violated Etsys creativity standards" can encompass much more than just if it is designed and / or handmade by you. The violation can be anything from a 'prohibited' word in your title, description, or tags, to a non-conforming primary image, to being misclassified in core details, to intellectual property infringements, and lot in between.
Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).
Without knowing what item was removed, it'll be hard for anyone to guess what the reason was.
But it could've been any one of your items for a couple of reasons. You're selling clothing with the help of a Production Partner so the listings should be ''designed by'' you, not made by you. Another problem is that you're offering the clothing with the option of no personalization.
Hi
It was check short which was removed please guide what is the reason
That listing also can be purchased as is, without any personalization. Who actually sews the pants, you or your production partner? Your answer may help find out the reason for removal.
They are handmade & customized by us.
@BridalDreamsbyArfa If the clothing is made by you and customized by you, then what does your production partner, Asha Tex, do? They appear to be a wholesale company.
What was the item title?
It is quite likely it contained a word that suggests the item might be in breach of the listing policy, but without knowing the title it is hard to say.
It might be a single word like Ivory, or a word that matches a well known brand name which suggests counterfeit items like Pandora or Chanel.
It might also be a prop used or something visible in the image that suggests you are selling a prohibited item.
You can contact Etsy using the Contact Us link under Help on your shop manager page. You will initially get a canned response, just remember to answer using the "I still need Help" link towards the bottom of the response and keep the conversation in that message, don't open a new one each time as that makes Etsy believe you found the answer you were looking for and the new message is a different issue, so it goes to the bottom of the queue.
I have already contacted etsy using the Contact Us link
All the "Greek letters" fraternities/sororities are trademarked. You'll need a licensing agreement if you want to sell them commercially. It will get your seller account ID credentials banned if you're not careful. Just mentioning their name in the listing is TM infringement.
Thank You for letting me know we have removed the wording.
But etsy remove the different listing which was flannel check shorts
I think the seller showed photos of customized orders they received.
@BridalDreamsbyArfa is this correct?
Did the removed listing have any greek letters on it?
They are not just "Greek life", those are names of university dorms, of sororities and fraternities and can't be used for commercial photos.
If yes, then remove those Greek alphabet photos, because they are trademarked, on all listings. Use neutral pieces instead.
You have a satin pajama listing that has the word 'wifey' embroidered on it. Did the shorts listing also have that word on it?
"Wifey'' is trademarked by several people for different categories, one being for all kinds of clothing. If the tm owner finds your listing, it could be removed.
