I have had this issue with two different listings now.
I duplicate a listing, delete all but one photo (a generic example of the item being listed), add new photos, and move the new ones to the first and second place.
The thumbnail view shows the new #1 photo correctly.
The preview shows the new #1 photo correctly.
I list the item, and when I go to check it, the old single photo (which I moved to #3) is now in the #1 position.
I edit it again, and move it back to 3. List it, and it's in 1.
All I can do is delete the old photo, but I don't want to do that I want to use it.
This is clearly some sort of glitch. Can anyone help with this?
@KatyDidsCards Sometimes it takes an hour or so to kick in. Perhaps try again and check back in an hour. Good luck!
That won't work for me, as it means the first photo showing is the wrong one.
Thanks.
@KatyDidsCards If you wait an hour, it might correct itself.
That won't work for me, as it means the first photo showing is the wrong one, and even if just for an hour that's not ok.
Thanks.
@KatyDidsCards That's crazy; who has time to babysit their listings, in order to make sure photos don't change position of their own accord (rhetorical Q). I'm sorry it's happening to you. Here is a Thread from the end of May; same issue. Some Sellers posted they were able to drag and switch the photos, while others couldn't. Hope this helps you in some way.

Thanks for the thread, but I am attempting to drag them around, and once I do, and they look like they're in the right order in Preview, but when I List they show up in the wrong order.
Just weird and a pita.
@KatyDidsCards Oh geeze, not good, sorry about that. It's counterproductive to have to check our listings after they go live, only for the sake of ensuring our photo positions don't change on their own accord.
