Links in ETSY messages no longer work. Example you want to send a link about one of your products to a buyer that contacted you or a buyer sends you a link from your store with a question about a product. The links that used to work no longer function. You will be sent to a wrong page that does not represent the purpose of the feature. To be clear I am not talking about offsite links just links within ETSY  pertaining to your store account when interacting with buyers. This prevents some interaction with buyers and makes the store keeper look bad due to circumstances only ETSY can control.

@SurnamePro: Just to make sure that I understand what you are saying, a link to a listing works but sends you to the wrong page.  Very odd. We just finished answering a number of inquiries and both the links from the buyers and our replies with other links appear to work. Are the links malformed in some way? All of ours are showing up as https://www.etsy.com/listing/[LISTING_ID/[LISTING_TITLE]. What are yours showing as?

Clink a link on your store to copy and past to a buyer that asked a question. It used to work perfectly but no more. Maybe I'm a targeted experiment by ETSY so if so get ready, you may be next.

Is the wrong page possibly a listing that was edited for a different item than copied for a new listing?  Sometimes old listing information will appear.  Or is it not a listing at all?  If coming from the buyer side, it could be their device and how they copied the URL.  Their fingers may have hit the wrong thing?

If it is on your side, perhaps your device needs a reboot or clear of cache or even a utilitis clean out as maybe there is 'noise' interfering. 

I haven't had any links today but I had one a few days ago and it was fine.  All links worked.

Nope it seems to involve the "www" portion of the ETSY listing. It used to work but no more.

If you are using a link to a listing, erase everything after listing/numbers/ you don't need the title words or anything. Also maybe make sure you are pasting with the https part, sometimes www isn't enough to trigger hyperlinking on some sites.

Why would a shop owner need to "erase" anything? Don't we count on ETSY to do the right thing?

Make sure you are sharing a link from your actual shop, not from inside your shop where you can edit items. I've seen people make that mistake in here - they'll try to share a link to one of their listings, but it's not the public page, only instead a page the shop owner can see.

I just got a convo from another seller asking about an old listing-- the link she sent works just fine.

You seem to be having messaging issues. It may be on your end. I would do "Ye Olde" clear your cookies and cache and restart your computer or at least first try it on another browser and see if the issues persist. If it is on all browsers it may be your computer. If others are seeing it too..probably an Etsy issue. I'd make sure it is not you or your browser first. Etsy seems to have a lot of issues that are browser interface dependent. I have issues with Chrome. Some Safari users were having label issues last week. Some issues are device related..work fine on  most devices but not others. The app is very glitchy if that is what you are using. Etsy can have issues dependent on browser and device..and that is not on you it is their issue. I am sure that is irritating. Not  disbelieving you are having issues. I have had them before with Chrome printing labels JUST on Etsy not on Ebay the same day that others were also reporting that  Etsy told us "must be you" then a few days later it magically "fixed itself".

I see the OP has another thread about another feature not working .

I am thinking it is "clear your cache" time. When all these weird things start to happen to me I think of it as my browser (or my computer) is constipated and needs cleaning up!

@SurnamePro You need to copy the Link from the Public View, as a Buyer would see it in your Shop, not from the Shop Manager Listing page.

I am having this issue too. The link works fine for me, but 3 different customers say the link only takes them to my shop page, not the actual listing.
