LISTING ERROR MESSAGE: You cannot include any of the following characters: $ ^ `

When uploading a new listing today, I received this error message: You cannot include any of the following characters: $ ^.  The only characters I have are ~ and ,. I use these characters in all of my listing. I tried erasing both of them and I still can't complete the listing. This has happened, periodically, before. By the following day, it corrects itself. I need to work today.

Instead of using the little squiggles, would you consider using a comma in place of? I see you do have the squiggles in the Title.

I tried that. It won't accept the commas either. Thanks for trying to help.

Could you have accidentally clicked on the shift key when typing a number in the number/letter code you have at the end of your titles?

No, I tried multiple times, erasing the entire title and re-typing it. Thanks for trying to help.

I started several brand new listings because I thought I had made an error and I just didn't see it. I get the same message every time. After I've finished entering all of the info about the new listing, uploaded photos, etc, I can't save it. So all of that work has been for nothing.

 Be sure you don’t have a leading space

That was the first thing I checked because I've made that mistake before; but Etsy tells you when you've left a space at the beginning. Thanks for trying to help.

Make sure you have no spaces at the beginning of title.  As for the marks, I would use only a comma and even that I would use sparingly.  There really is no reason anymore to be using commas, dashes, etc.  Are you reusing a listing?  The listing might have had a mark in it that can't be removed.  

What system are you using?  Try a different browser?  Reboot.  Clean out cache and cookies.

I tried listing with no commas (it didn't make the title make sense), it still wouldn't accept it. I think it's just a glitch in Etsy operating system that is affecting my shop. As I've stated, previously, it has happened multiple times before and it takes about 24 hours to resolve itself. Tomorrow, it may be just fine, just like nothing's happened. It's really bugging me today because I had listings I wanted to put up for the weekend.
