Items not renewing

My items are not renewing. I sell an item, I renew it, the "sold out" banner goes away, but when I go to edit the listing or do anything with it, it says it's sold out. All the orders I've had in the last 2 days are still "sold out" but the banner is not there anymore. 

Which makes sense because my orders have been low for the past 2-3 days. How do I fix?? Is this a bug that other people are having a problem with?

I'm experiencing something similar! Customer contacted me asking about an item if would be back in stock. It was in stock on my phone app, so I asked her to check again. She said it was still showing sold out!

So I went onto my computer & checked, sure enough it was showing sold out. So I increased the quantity & asked her to try again. She was then able to purchase it.

I started checking other single quantity items that had been renewed with a quantity of 1. I found more showing sold out. At that point I just increased my quantity on the items I could sell more than 1 of. It seems to be showing correctly so far!

I haven't finished checking all listings yet. I would recommend others to check their top sellers if they only show 1 in stock & have renewed lately. I generally keep stock at one, so I can control my workload for the day. I renew as items sell.

This has also happened to me - and I can't seem to be able to report the issue to Etsy at the moment... This is very frustrating as I was notified by a customer of the problem (and they were quite terse about the issue)

I have the same problem here! Customer wants to buy an item I have active in my shop, but after clicking the link etsy shows 'sold out'. I renewed it once again, but still the same! It's one of my most popular items, so it's frustrating!

I’m so glad I found this!! This is happening to me too. It’s so frustrating! It must be a glitch of some sort. 

I just tried what someone said at the top about adding more than 1 to your quantity and it fixed it. Really strange…

I’m having this problem as well. I sold an item yesterday that’s become quite popular in my shop. I renewed it and I can see that I paid a renewal fee in my payment account. I can see what appears to be the active listing in my shop. When I try to open the listing it brings me to the “sorry, this item is sold out” page.

This has been going on since yesterday so it’s not a matter of giving the system time to catch up. It’s also not a browser issue because it’s doing it on Chrome, Safari and the buyer app. This is a glitch that needs fixing ASAP. 

Edit: I just read the suggestion to enter a quantity of more than one. It worked! I’m going to check my other listings that have recently sold to make sure they aren’t showing sold out.

Has anyone contacted Etsy regarding this?  Do they know this is happening?

Yes they are aware, there are other threads about this here in the forum. The problem still persists, just renewed an item and shows as sold out.

Same here! Thanks for posting so I know I am not the only one getting the angry red badge of frustration when I try to renew.

I so wish I had come across this thread before contacting Etsy support - I had this happen on one of my digital listings that I have sold twice in the past week. 

Etsy support was really trying to help me sort the issue but as they deactivated the listing on their end (with my permission) and then tried to reactive it is now somehow “locked” in their system and they can’t get it to reactivate. 

They will try to get it back for me but had no time frame as to when this would happen. 

I have created a new listing for it, but have lost all the hearts etc, and it was already in a few peoples baskets.
