Is anyone else having issues connecting their shop to stamps.com?
I have been shipping with them for several years and I suddenly cannot connect my etsy shops. I have tried deleting and re-connecting multiple times with no success. Unable to load my orders into stamps.com since Thursday.
My admin has been wonky since about Thursday as well, so I don't know if Etsy is having some technical issues?
I just did the same thing and was not aware this was going on. I just noticed today that my most recent orders where not syncing. even from the same day that other orders came through.
Yes, exact same issues. In the mean time, I just manually add an order, then copy and paste address. Hopefully its fixed soon. I tried removing my store then reconnecting, now my store will not even show up on the drop down. It is about week 3 for me.
I started shipping using Etsy's shipping page. Etsy does still show up in my dropdown list on stamps but I can not get it to recognize my store. I also still have issues with not getting notified when I get a sale. There last suggestion to me was to try using a different email. I can not do that. This is my work email that I use for my website and ebay notifications and I have no issues with either of them with stamps or email. I think Etsy needs to hire someone with higher knowledge in this area.
Interesting twist this morning - still no email from Stamps.com support but this morning, when I loaded the app, instead of saying "ETSY:{STORE NICKNAME}" it now says "8:{STORE NICKNAME}" which led me to discover that ETSY has been removed as a data source, both in the desktop app as well as online. To some extent this is a good sign that the problem is being worked on and a new data source is being developed. I guess ETSY Shipping will get my postage $$ today.
Same here - I've got the 8: before the shop name too. They "escalated" my case today too - they have no estimate of when this might be fixed...... Glad I have Pirate Ship as a backup - Etsy doesn't support my 2x7 label size.
use pirateship.
download the label and put it in your graphics program (I use printshop).
I can get 4 labels per sheet with a slight tweak of each. Easy. Or you can set the parameters that make sense to you.

Etsy seems to not even have an account to reconnect to anymore. I called stamps.com yesterday and they said they would "email me" when I could reconnect. For now, I am manually copying and pasting and then copying the tracking. TOTALLY a pain but I use UPS because USPS STINKS and overcharges for my size box. It's been over a week.
Not sure WHAT I am going to do. It takes SO much time with all my orders. UGHHHHHHHH ETSY!
Tech support confirmed they are working on a known issue and have temporarily removed Etsy as a shop integration.

When you try to add your Etsy store to Stamp.com orders, Stamps.com no longer shows the Etsy icon as one of the compatible platforms for Stamps.com. This suggests that the incompatibility may be a long-term situation.
According to tech support, they temporarily removed Etsy while they fix the issue.
They gave no indication on when it will be fixed.
it is an increasingly pain. That and the tedious manual entry there are reason for me to look out for something different.
can anyone suggest competitor with similar pricing as stamps.com?
tech support told me it was etsy, not them.
Pirate Ship. Great rates, no monthly fee, and integrates with Etsy.
And this is happening all over again Since 5/22 (last day it worked) Stamps.com says it's Etsy, Etsy says it's stamps.com I would think that If you're going to allow 3rd party apps to work with your platform then you need to take some responsibility to at least look into it if there's a problem
After spending hours last week on line with stamps.com - who said it was all Etsy's fault.... Then spending time with Etsy on phone saying it wasn't there end. Then again hours with Stamps.com and the issue is still not corrected. I pulled the plug this morning after MANY YEARS with Stamps.com and have switched over to Pirate Ship. When all else fails can use Etsy ship but in my biz I need to have an alternate. Good luck to you all but you may need to look at alternatives at this point.
As I said in past comments that neither party is going to admit fault but I can say for certain that I have used Stamps for more than just Etsy and my other platforms like Ebay and my website do not have this issue. Etsy still has not corrected my issue with not getting email notifications when I get a sale. There last suggestion was to try an different email platform. The email I use is my work email and I use it for every place I sell boomerangs like Ebay, Walmart, my website and all of them send me email notifications without issue. I even have a hard time writing all of this as I feel Etsy will frown on it. I just want to be honest here without reproduction. We as sellers respect our customers and Etsy pushes us to be better sellers. I just want them to treat us the same way.

I looked at using pirate ship but it seemed so confusing and convoluted in comparrison to Stamps.com but I'm starting to get really annoyed now. Although SdC has the problem listed as of 4/11 it actually started happening on 4/5 it's almost 3 weeks now and still not fixed.
I too noticed this issue started on 4/5 but didn't realize it was ongoing until 4/9 since it was the weekend (knowing Stamps.com does not have support hours) I took it upon myself to just upgrade to the latest version. That caused a whole new set of problems one being NO HISTORY so I couldn't even get tracking #'s (I don't only sell via etsy) So on Monday after painstakingly dealing with level 1 techs at Stamps.com I finally got them to help me restore the previous build. I'm escalated and also you can sign up for status emails about the issue here. https://status.stamps.com/
But for everyone aborting ship .... there's a work around yes it's a PITA but.... all you have to do is use the ADD Order function and copy paste the info over from the etsy order into the name / address etc.
it takes a bit more time of course and then after shipped you have to go to history and grab the tracking # and post it back to the etsy order, but at least you will still have the SdC functions you're used to and especially if you use other websites like shopify ebay etc where your sync is working. You'll still have all your history in one place.
