What am I missing?
I was listing a vintage (black metal) dustpan today and did a search on others listed. So weird. One of my items (another dustpan) :
Vintage Red Pepper Southwestern Metal Dustpan JV Reed USA - Etsy
is showing up as a weird price of $17.85??? Actual price is $15.
What do you see? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!!
I see £15.23, not sure what that is in $.
But - this happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Not all my items, just a few, had weird prices. I always price to the nearest £ but these prices had random pence numbers too and were slightly higher than the actual price I set. There were some other threads on here at the time from other sellers saying they had the same thing.
I contacted Etsy about it but by the time they got back to me some days later the problem appeared to have fixed itself.
CV: thanks for posting...I did look for other threads. This is not a good thing.
@retrogal415
I looked at the item in your shop and see $15.00.
Then I did a search for that item and it shows $17.85.
Where the heck did that price come from?
How can Etsy show a different / higher price in search than the item actually is?
Makes no sense at all.
EXACTLY!!!........makes. no. sense . at. all.
Well, I was assuming it was some sort of conversion so I went to Google and searched the red pepper dustpan and it shows a price of 1269.00 INR. So, I did another google search to see what that was and it is conversion to Indian Rupee. Interesting.
Etsy? maybe an issue worth looking into?
