Issue with ios not finding printer

I don’t know if this has anything to do with Etsy, but thought I’d ask. I’m trying to print a label when I get the message no printer found and when I click on it, it takes me to the screen where I click on my one and only printer. Going back to the print label screen, the name of the printer fills in the box, but there are two “whirling wheels” that eventually give up and the name of the printer disappears from that screen. I have 7 sales to ship tmrw. I have 4 labels that printed just fine and in the middle of all this everything went kaput.  I rebooted the modem, plugged and unplugged the printer, turned off and on my ipad and iphone, changed the printer cartridge, updated all the apps, tried using the HPSmartapp - nothing. Any ideas other than throwing the printer out the second story window?

Wow you tried a lot of things. Only suggestion I would have is if you are using Etsy labels try using Pirateship to see if any different. If same problem it’s a printer issue. Actually just thought of another thing I would try - google or use ChatGPT and see if they have a suggestion.

Clear your cache files and restart your browser.

Best thing for an HP printer is the 3rd floor window, if that fails. 

Try resetting the printer to it's factory settings before you reinstall.

When did you last carry out a maintenance on your printer? Could your ink collection parts unit be malfunctioning? Check if your printheads are clogged

Have you tried printing something else from your device? e.g. a file or an image? That might determine if it's a problem connecting from your device to the printer, or if it's specifically from Etsy to the printer.

When conducting Etsy business using a phone ... always use the browser, never the app!

Thanks to everyone who took the time to post. I did clean the printer heads and I think that might have been the root of the problem. In the past, when I get the message that ink is low, I won’t change out the cartridge right away. I know better because I’ve had some issues even though it’s printing just fine at the time. I may have pushed it too far this time. Anyway, yesterday I had to print Etsy labels thru the HP Smart app. I don’t even know how I did it. Today everything works! Prints labels like a charm and anything else. OlWho knows? Thanks again .
