Issue uploading new photos

Is anyone having an issue uploading new photos to a new listing? When I hit the add photos button , nothing happens.. Feel like a tried everything. I need help, please! I am on a home computer.

Have you tried clearing cookies in your browser?

That is very unlikely to be necessary. Clearing cookies or history will not usually affect uploads. Clearing the cookies will lose website user settings / preferences and logins, that's not a good idea. Clearing the history will lose url auto-completing.

What may help with data transfers is clearing the brower's cache. That is different from cookies or history. Clearing the cache deletes stored copies of web page files, and forces a fresh reload of web pages with the latest version of the page.

I normally drag and drop them rather than "hit" the add photos button, have you tried that? Also which browser are you using, and try clearing the cache, etc and try again.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I'm using firefox. Have for years. I just cleared cache etc. like you suggested and tried again. no luck

Something not right today, I am able to upload a new photo to an existing listing on screen but cannot then rearrange the photos or apply the new photo

Check that the image files are less than 10MB and are jpg files. Sometimes phone camera apps can default to saving in a different file format after an update.

Try rebooting your broadband router (often built into a domestic wifi hub).

Try a different browser.

Check your broadband service status, and speed.

Of course it could be Etsy messing with the page, so try again later.
