Is this message real or a scam?

3 hours ago, I received a message from the messages section:

 'Dear seller, Etsy is implementing an enhanced verification process to ensure security. As a result, sales in your store have been temporarily suspended until the verification process is complete.
To get your store back up and running and receive new orders, please send your E-mail to this chat so we can send instructions for verification. As soon as the verification is complete, your Etsy store will resume operations immediately.
We appreciate your attention, Etsy.'

However, there are some points that I have doubts about. Even though I sent my e-mail as a reply, there was no response for hours. And this message was sent as a screenshot in a very poor quality format. I leave the content of the message to the link. Please help I don't know what to do.

It is a Scam. Etsy will never ask for your email address, because they already have it. You gave it to them when you opened your account.

All messages from Etsy will be in the From Etsy message folder or on your store dashboard. If it is neither place, it is a scam.

And finally, your store is not suspended. I can access it.

Since you gave them your email address, their next step will probably be to send you an email with a link to a website that looks like Etsy, but isn't, where they will try to steal your financial information.

Never click any links in an email. Instead, navigate to your store the way you usually get there, then look for messages on your Dashboard or in the From Etsy folder.

Definitely a scammer. They target new shops. You will probably get more of those too.

Did you look to see if your shop is open or suspended?  A lot of sellers panic and don’t check first. I see your shop open so it hasn’t been suspended.  Another big clue is if they want to communicate through email. Why would Etsy want to leave Etsy to talk to an Etsy seller about Etsy business, credit card and banking information, when Etsy has a more secure site?

If you aren’t sure if it’s Etsy then go to Etsy to find out if they  need that information. I don’t care if it’s the phone company, power company or my bank I always go directly to the people that would have contacted me if they wanted the information.

Only legitimate messages from Etsy will appear in the 'from Etsy' folder. All other messages are from buyers (or scammers posing as Etsy).

Please don't post links to scam websites on the forum.
