I'm getting this message as I try to post my listing.
This has happened in the past, and I have to keep trying to figure it out.
"Hm, we’re having trouble saving your changes. Try again, and if this keeps happening contact Etsy Support."
I cut and paste to save my description, but it's still irritating to have to repeat the same listing 7-8 times to see if it's fixed.
I work my shop Full-Time, 10 hours a day on average, and try to be as efficient as possible to make a living. When Etsy is down, I can't list. It would make sense to advise us when the site has issues, so we don't have to waste our valuable time.
I've tried it from a copy, and creating a new listing. Still getting the same error message.
Please give ETA on fix ASAP
Further more, I am both a Star Seller, and pay $10 a month, for more features, yet I still can't find a contact us that allows me to contact support. I thought that was the benefit of one of these, enhanced customer service.
None of the categories is for reporting issues, and I can't get through the mouse maze to the cheese (being able to get an answer/report an issue.)

In the Shop Manager there is a bubble which can be clicked on. When it is showing chat support is available. I just checked mine and they are online. When on a desktop or laptop it will be on the bottom right side of the screen.
Is this happening with both the new and old listing tool? The old one is being phased out. The new one works best when it is pulled up through the Listings section in the Shop Manager. However, it has only been working intermittently or not at all for some of us.
I was able to add a listing using the old listing form (not the new.) However, I get a different error message, when it comes to shipping.
It says something about the provider service not being valid and wouldn't let me publish.
For the time being I just raised my price, and checked free shipping.
I'm able to list but my last 6 listings show in my shop but not in my listing manager. Something is up.
Since there have been several technical problems reported by sellers in the forums today it's likely this are glitches due to some type of reprogramming. Or maybe they are working on the listing tool to improve it.
I too am unable to publish a listing in the new listing mode. I've been trying for 2 hours. Any other suggestions?
Use the old listing form, but it is not working with shipping. If you offer free shipping, it will work.
Check to see if you have a Shipping Service listed. I believe Etsy just added Ground Advantage and eliminated whatever I was using before to denote Ground Advantage. I was having trouble listing yesterday and then noticed I had "update required" on most of my listings. Once I accepted Ground Advantage in the then blank space I was good. This was necessary whether I was using old or new listing form.
I tried using the old form... and instead I got this message when I got to shipping...
Shoot I lost it, It said the provider was not right for the shipping zone, for any shipping price I tried....but when I entered Free shipping it worked, and I was able to post using the old Listing Form.
With the NEW listing form, I get the error messages still, an hour later.

Forget trying to list until you edit your shipping info. Make sure you have a Shipping Service which is how you say it will ship. Priority, Ground Advantage, First Class, etc. Make sure it isn't blank.

I just spoke with chat and they asked for a screen shop of the message. Then they told me to sign out and re-sign in. That did not work. Then they requested that I change to another browser. I just don't have time for all this right now. I'll wait it out for awhile before I pursue further. Good Luck to Everyone going through this craziness.
The glitch is not with the listing form, it's with the rollout of ground advantage. It has messed up the shipping profiles, and without those, you can't list or update. And I have tried updating my shipping profiles and that doesn't work either, I get an error saying they can't update my profile. But I can make new profiles, and I can list items with those new profiles. So it's something about existing shipping profiles being messed up with the Ground Advantage rollout. I'm going to leave this sit until tomorrow to see if it fixes itself. If not, I will have to make a new primary shipping profile and then re-assign all my listings to it.
Did you update the Shipping Service to Ground Advantage and SAVE? This happened to me and I discovered that field was blank. Whatever I chose before Ground Advantage must have gone away when they added Ground Advantage. Mine are fine now but I had to go into each and select a shipping service and SAVE.
@PinkBirdCottage When I try to update any of the existing profiles, choosing Ground Advantage, then hitting SAVE, it gives me a "We Could Not Update Your Profile" error message. I cannot fix or update any existing profile, no matter what shipping service I select. I can only make new shipping profiles.
Update: Logged out/in, and it finally let me update my existing shipping profiles.
I've went back to my shipping service on this listing and changed it to Ground Advantage and everything is A-O-K. It published just fine. Thank you so much Pink Bird, and Seward Street for the Suggestion.
I had that issue earlier today and went to a sold listing couple weeks ago, changed the title and other info and then listed it. But what I am also noting is that my new listing from today are not at the top in my listing manager it keeps the last 3 from the other day as the first 3 items and the new items I listed today got bumped down (hard to explain hope this makes sense).
Oh, I forgot another issue was I had messages on all my listings for the shipping updates, so went in and put USPS and what ever service the price was for, ie first class, USPS Ground Advantage etc... So maybe you need to check your listings to see if there is something that needs to be updated. Took some time to update all 118 items but I guess we have nothing better to do, right? LOL
ETSY won't let me post a new listing either. I get the same message that you said you got. I can't find any way to talk to an actual person on ETSY. I need to be able to add a new listing, but it won't let me.
