Item shows in shop and site search, but then shows sold out when clicked on

With a pair of earrings sold this afternoon, I promptly renewed.

But now, while it comes up and shows in site search results, in my shop, and dashboard...when clicking on the item/listing it still shows as "sold out".

You're not the only one with this problem.  Apparently, it's a known glitch and Etsy's working on it.  A mod replied here:

Addendum:  I was just shown (my own) item in question in an Off-Site Ad, when clicking on it, it comes up with a sold out page entering from the ad too.

I clicked on your link and am brought to "this item sold out" page.

The earrings are in your shop but when I click on them I am brought to the "sold out" page.

The cynic in me wonders if Etsy is thinking that if you are going to renew a sold out listing, well, why didn't you offer more than one to begin with? lol

Though of course when it comes to anything handmade, there can be all those "silly" things, those subtle differences that require a listing's description be edited. Yes, it may look like an exact duplicate but it really isn't.

Yep, it shows as sold out.  Even though Etsy is currently working on this issue, I'd contact chat with a screen shot and ask them to pass this along to the appropriate team.  It may assist them.  

Technical issues are increasing on Etsy which typically indicates changes are being made to a system.

I upped the "quantity available" from 1 to 2, and it instantly started showing available.

I found another bug that started the same time as this one.
When you open a sold listing (Default is the new form), the Quantity box is empty.
My suggestion is to open the sold listing instead of renewing straight from the main listing or orders page, enter the missing quantity and Renew while you are on that page. I would love to hear if it works...
