Hi, I am a Etsy seller and I’ve been working hard to become a star seller. I had completed 5 orders with more than USD 300 as per the criteria which was showing 2 weeks back in the Star Seller dashboard. But it is not showing anymore. It now say 0 orders. I think there is a technical glitch on this. As my sales (orders & delivery) column, it is showing all the sales with their prices. Request you to please check on the same.
Hello GitikaArt,
After checking in here, it appears that you've changed your shop currency last December 19, 2022. Please know that as of the moment, if a seller changes their shop currency mid-calculation-period, their orders and sales numbers will reset and they will have to build up their orders and sales minimums again. This is because Sales and On-Time Shipping & Tracking criteria are dependent on the shop's currency. We strongly recommend changing the shop's currency only if needed.
Thank you very much!!
Once your meet both the dollar amount and number of orders, they don't show anymore in the star seller dashboard info.
Infact i had no idea and this change in currency is not written in any terms or conditions. Infact I got a few calls from Etsy support in India to change the currency to INR and hence I changed. They did not tell me that my Star Seller would be effected otherwise I would have never done it. I don't know what to do now.
But Thanks really for your reply.
Regards,
Gitika from GitikaArt
It only goes for the past 3 months, so the January star will be October-November-December. Did you make the 5 sales within those months?
I'm also not sure you would get the review badge, as you don't have a review more recent than July. I know for messages if you don't have any they will default to getting the badge, but I don't know if they will default you to getting the badge without any recent reviews.
Did you change your shop currency by any chance?
