I've lost Star Seller status due to one sale being counted as not shipped.

Explain how Etsy was able to charge me the shipping fee on that sale if it was not shipped. ($0.61) It was shipped the next day after the sale, with tracking#.
Was it the shipping fee or postage fee? In finances the shipping fee is what is charged based on what you charged for shipping. That is charged at the time of the sale and regardless of if the item ever ships or not. A postage charge is if you used Etsy labels to actually buy this postage. If the item was shipped through Etsy labels, was it shipped on time?
Hello @fifthcorps,
We've double-checked the order you're referring to, and it appears that the tracking number you've added for this order can't also be tracked on the carrier's website. It is possible that the number entered may not be the tracking number, or a slight error may have been made in entering the number. It is also possible that the wrong carrier may have been added or chosen. Please check the carrier and the tracking number match. If the carrier and tracking numbers do not match, this will count as an invalid tracking number. You can check our help center article explaining how to add or edit a tracking number.
Thank you very much!
Etsy charges a fee against what you charge the buyer for shipping.
Contact Etsy.
Did you ship within your processing time frame? Did you ship last day and the post office did not accept until after the processing time frame ended?
It is the tracking number that is important. Do you add tracking numbers or use Etsy labels/Pirateship labels? If you manually add tracking numbers make sure the tracking number is correct. If Etsy cannot read the number then Aftership sees the item as not shipped.
This has nothing to do with shipping costs.

All my sales ship out within 2 days of purchase. All my sales have a tracking#.
This is what I do not understand about this sale. It was delivered to the postal clerk the next day and I entered the tracking# when I completed that information to the order.
Where was the postage purchased from? How was the tracking attached to the order? If you keyed it in, or even if you copy and pasted, if there was anything off (that includes an extra space at the beginning or end), then Etsy's system can not verify it. While you are not required to purchase labels through Etsy, they are the only ones that will automatically sync to the order and can't have a mistake. Possibly if you use Pirateship and sync that to your Etsy account it fills in the information for you - but my PS isn't synced so I can't say for sure. Because I copy and paste the tracking numbers when I use PS I have to make sure I'm not accidentally selecting any spaces or anything else outside of the number.
