I’ve changed my return policy four times, but…

I keep getting a red banner on my Dashboard that my return policies will expire in a week, but I’ve updated four times. I get the ‘success, you did it’ pop up, but the red banner won’t go away, any ideas? I’m thinking it must be a glitch?

On October 31 our policies will expire and will be switched over to Etsy's new standardized policies.  That is likely what that message refers to.

you can't change your current policies in the policy section

you have to change them in each listing now

you should have a blue message at the top of your dashboard, which takes you here

I didn't have to change all listings.  I only had to do one and then Etsy asked me if I wanted to apply it to all.  It gave me ability to do so.

If I wanted different policies for different listings then I needed to go into each of those listings to make the changes

I have digital items and non-digital, I can't have the same policies on them all

and etsy put "no returns" on my made to order items, which would be illegal

and 30 days on my others, including my digital items

just as well I only have a few now

Have you tried doing a block edit in the listings page. You choose all or selected listings.

Either way it seems a right bodge up.
