The UK have had a major issue recently when none of our shops were being shown and did not get sorted out until Monday, no this is not good enough with a Multi Million pound website you really need to have Technical department available 24/7, this is really not a great way to run a business and the sellers using your website should not have to wait to get things sorted out Monday to Friday 9pm till 5pm, get your act together Etsy and spend more money and have the tech guys on all the time!! so they are there when needed!!
I suggest taking your concerns to Etsy. They are valid, very valid.
We don't know what the crew is on the weekend. I know we joke it is only 5 days a week but in reality it is probably much different.
It may have taken more work than anyone realizes to solve the issue. Not all computer issues can be solved in a few hours or even a few days.
And Etsy seldom gives updates when they are working on issues so it does leave sellers in the dark.
Maybe asking Etsy directly about how they deal with issues help to understand and make them further aware that more communication may help.
i used to work for Pc World and know how things can get sorted out quickly ,and no they have basically no one there to fix it, thats disgusting for a Website thats is worth so much!
And also if the guys are great at their job they would actually notice there is problems happening on the website before the customers (sellers) have to point it out to them!!
So the UK search issue got fixed? I missed that resolution.
@cindylouwho2 sorry i had a rant and then left the forum lol it got sort of fixed late afternoon UK time, its now been changed to Europe instead of the EU.
@daisysjewellerygifts that's still frustrating since many sellers around the world ship in one day, but at least the UK is not excluded any more!
@cindylouwho2 yes i agree and alot of sellers from around the world wont get seen still by the Uk now, lets hope this is just a quick fix, not that it was that quick lol and they actually sort it out correctly one day!

Yes no one overseeing a multi billion site like this is disgusting, a Quality Advisor Technical Team should be available 24 x hours every day/night. Not good enough to let major problems slip untill their Sellers have to tell techs of the site problems ----Mr Josh Silverman sitting in a overflowing nest egg why are you not employing assertive people?????? After all your getting PAID enough? That's the bottom line to make sure your over seeing ETSY? A JOKE!
