I have Big problem, no budgets no stars. No working

For half s month one day all dessapeared, my budgets, my star. Talked bybphone, they toldo me was not my fault , a technical issue. This new month i have all the BEST for my budgets and star Seller but It appears wrong in the general stadistics and not appearing another time

"To be eligible to become a Star Seller you need to first meet our minimum customer service standards for case rate, and have certain order and sales criteria. Learn more about how Star Seller metrics compare to customer service standards.

You also need to meet higher standards for message response rate, on-time shipping & tracking, and average review ratings:"

The words "first meet" make it clear that Case Rate and Order and Sales criteria have to be "first met" before any other considerations

Beyond what the rules state (which used to be clear right at the top of the Star Seller page,) you just have to look at what happens in that situation. My other shop is seasonal, so I might not meet the $300 minimum some months. I can have 100% scores on all the metrics, but I get no badges without meeting the minimum sales amount.

Very possible.  That's just another example of where Etsy's practice differs from its written policy.

In fact, the links @CarpetCollectionAU  posts above (which clearly apply to Star Seller but not necessarily individual badges), seem to imply that badges are earned BEFORE sales and revenue minimums are applied to earning the Star Seller badge.

Like I said above, it is useless to discuss this, because Etsy is not clear on it with obvious contradictions in wording.  Etsy is going to act the way they are going to act.  That may be in congruence with written policies, it may be contrary to them.

@dayspringcollectible I am really confused about what you are trying to establish.

BUT ... There is no distinction between Individual Badges and Star Seller.

Individual Badges are the "building blocks" of SSP. They are not independant of SSP.

SSP is a program that requires Shops to meet Service Standards higher than normal Etsy Customer Service Standards.

There is, actually, no such thing as an Individual Badge outside SSP.

The confusion is probably caused because Etsy requires all 3 Individual Badges to be awarded for the Purple SSP Badge to show, but, in certain circumstances, Etsy will show Individual Badges when no overall SSP Badge shows.

Etsy did acknowledge that Shops which did not have the Shipping or Messaging Badge because thay were Digital Shops or received no Messages should not be unfairly penalized, so that is why Etsy publishes the Individual Badges achieved but not the overall SSP Purple Star Badge. But to even qualify for the Individual Badges a Shop has to meet the criteria for minimum Orders and Revenue.

This is clearly set out in the link I posted.

Minimum Order Number and Value are essential to even get to Step One in the SSP process of which Individual Badges are subsequent, not independant. The first step of SSP qualification is to meet Minimum Order Number and Value Criteria. It is made clear in the documentation. It is also made clear in SSP process. There is no ambiguty, just misinterpretation, of the Help Center information which I shared.

Well, actually a have had that amount for months, my shop is open only for few months perhaps it appear an older date.

But, these last months i havent had that amount, you can see a have now few listings.

Yes, its necessary to have minimum of $300 sales (in the 3 month period) for the small badges.

@dayspringcollectible   @juliadelolmoarts : While some Etsy documentation can be vague or non-concise, they have been rather clear that Star Seller is calculated and awarded only on the 1st of each month, and on that day it must have been more than 90 days since your first sale, then you need to have met the order quantity and volume requirements during the preceding three month period, and only then are the other metrics considered.

Ive had more than 50 downloads last month, more than 100 $ after taxes, and lots of good reviews and quick answers. Thinkkn about closing the shop

When I don't reach 300, all classic badges disappear and are replaced by the ' Top shop for gifts ' badge, but she has absolutely nothing, as if it was a new store. Isn't it strange?

@TenGramsDesign "Top Shop for Gifts" is a relic from the past, way before SSP. It seems that it was awarded if someone marked something as a "gift". It has never changed or updated. It just sits in the background and fills that space if no SSP data is available.

Everyday I learn something, so with no client having marked as gift, my space would have been totally empty too, good to know. I just had it once, (finger crossed.)

That made me chuckle due to my own misunderstanding of the "Top Shop for Gifts" thing.  The Star Seller program was in existence when I started selling here in 2022, and I've met every metric to qualify since...except often times I'm below that $300 threshold, so I receive no badges except the "Top Shop for Gifts" thing.  I could never figure out exactly why, because I don't sell gifty items. 

I did however sell a boat load of vintage gift wrap the first year I had a shop, and figured that's where it came from?!  It was a stretch, but that's all  I could come up with as to why I'd have that label!

About learning something, I just realized that no badge appears on a phone Lol.  Only  star seller  or nothing. As apparently most  buyers use their phone,I won't worry anymore for my 2 badges (even I love them : )

This is the same problem that affects my store. I have an SS badge. I can see it on my desktop. They've been fixing it since the fall. I've stopped sending messages to support because it's useless.
