I don't see any messages in my ETSY inbox

Hello, I got notice about message from customer in my gmail but there is nothing in my ETSY inbox. I checked all bookmarks (spam included) .. all is just empty. Please help and Thank you

The user may have been removed along with any of their messages. Probably a scammer or spammer

If it isn't in your Etsy inbox, then it isn't from Etsy.

Etsy doesn't need your email - they have it.

They don't need your cc/banking info - they have it.

Scammers target new shops with no sales - Remember that and take caution!

If you receive a suspicious message, please proceed with caution. Etsy Support will never ask you to provide personal information via Etsy Messages, such as your email address or password. Any legitimate message from us will show in your "From Etsy" folder.

If you receive a suspicious message, here’s how to report it:

1. Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Your Account.
2. Go to Messages. 
3. Select the suspicious message from your inbox. 
4. Choose Mark as Spam.
