Need help etsy. I can't renew any of my listings today. I'm in Australia, internet connection is fine. Can't understand why I cannot renew. Thinking it is a glitch. I just get the red 'oh oh something went wrong' red banner message.
Just went into edit mode on each listing that has expired as recommended by another seller and was able to renew from there agreeing to pay the 20p to publish
I don't see why Etsy has all these problems and has such a hard time making sales yet eBay, Mercari, Amazon, and even creigslist are doing just fine. I made over $1,000 on eBay last week and only $50 on Etsy. If they can do it without all the problems so can Etsy.
I was just able to renew items by using a workaround I found on another thread (editing my listing and renewing from that page). But I couldn't choose not to have Etsy automatically renew my listings from that location and I get the same error message everyone is complaining about when I try to do it the normal way.
@KarenElmquistVintage Hello from Eastern Ontario. What I did with listings in draft, open up the listing as if you were going to edit and the publish button there worked for me - trying to do it from the shop manager is the issue. Hope that helps
also the Etsy selling app for your phone works.... you can renew multiple listings but the listing manager on a browser is much more practical for a lot of listings.
you are note alone .... same thing here in the us and just started yesterday.... I hope everyone is contacting support so that they resolve this quickly
don`t know if anybody will read this. If you open the listing and renew from there it works as usual. also you can edit the listing and if it was Manual renew in the first place it stays like that.
Not only I am unable to renew my listings, I also unable to post new listing via copy! Customer have ordered 4 listings, I spent a day creating them and now I cannot post them! There is no save copy button anymore, there is just Save button. After clicking on it I am getting a "Your new listing have been posted!" banner but the listing is nowhere to be found! It is just does not exist!
Its now 24 hours later. Still not able to renew my listings from listings manager. I can now renew items from sales. I can renew if I go to the listing itself I am trying to renew. (Thank you for the reply / shop who suggested this) We pay huge fees and cannot believe no one is working the weekend, yesterday and today on etsy to fix the bugs. Its costing them money, tons on money and thinking someone is going to get fired for this glitch.
I just love how Etsy is ignoring all of us. I find it rude and unprofessional. You know there's a problem, Etsy. At least let us know you hear us and are working on it. It's like calling 911, only to have the police not show up.
I've been here since 2008. Glitches like this shouldn't happen on this level for a company of this age and size. It's one thing to have a short outage. It's another to have days of reports of the same problem and then just ignore us.
Same here, can't renew listings. I ended up using the Etsy app on my phone and can renew that way, but sheesh, this is inexcusable, now into 3rd day being unable to renew via my computer, which I prefer to use for Etsy. The no acknowledgement of a problem by Etsy is so unprofessional! And yet they continue to increase fees and use every trick in the book to get more money from us, and the service decreases year by year. GRRR
