I have had several products removed saying that they were prohibited items and none of the items removed broke ANY rules. I am so furious!!The latest being anti itch cream. It was flagged for drug paraphernalia and there is not one single word that should cause that. I looked at all the examples and there is not one single word that would associate itch cream with ANY drug paraphernalia. I sent a complain email and was basically told it doesn't matter, their decision is final. It's freaking itch cream! You can't get high off it, it won't help you smoke anything, it is just itch cream!
Found online that they will unlist some soaps because it says "doesn't contain" and then the words that are not supposed to be there. I might have some of those and will go check my listings!

Here are Etsy's rules about medical claims, since no one else has linked them:
https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/medical-claims/239976157654
On Etsy, an item is considered to have made a Medical Claim if it suggests or states either of the following:
In many countries, products making certain medical claims are subject to pre-market review requirements and extensive regulation. It is the seller’s responsibility to know and follow any law or regulation that is applicable to them. If a seller makes or implies prohibited claims in their shop or in the presentation of an item - including in the title, description, tags, or images in the listing - Etsy may remove the item. Etsy reserves the right to remove listings that may violate any legal requirement relating to claims, or which otherwise violate Etsy’s policies. Etsy is not able to advise whether legal or regulatory requirements apply to you or offer pre-approval of claims made in shops or listings.
Regardless of accuracy or legality, some types of disease claims are prohibited on Etsy. Though this list is not exhaustive, we do not allow explicit or implied claims that an item:
Regardless of accuracy or legality, certain structure/function claims are also prohibited on Etsy, such as items which claim that they may bleach, lighten, or whiten skin.
Testimonials: Etsy does not prohibit product testimonials, but they must not make prohibited claims and must comply with any applicable laws pertaining to endorsements or medical claims.
Seller Disclaimers: Medical claims prohibited by Etsy always violate our policies, regardless of any disclaimers added by the Seller.
False Claims: As with any item on Etsy, Sellers may not knowingly make false claims or otherwise describe an item inaccurately.
Similar Prohibited Items: Note that Etsy prohibits all medical drugs, regulated devices, and numerous herbal substances (including THC and CBD) due to legality or potential harmfulness.
Note also, that some of your listings are making banned metaphysical services.

Etsy welcomes a wide variety of divination and spell-related items, as long as they meet our Seller Policy. Tarot, psychic, or other divination readings must include a tangible good, such as photos of the tarot spread, audio/video of a reading, or text of the reading. You may deliver the tangible good through Etsy Messages or email. Supplies related to spell work, such as herbs, crystals, and spell books, may be sold in their appropriate categories. However, spell supplies may not offer metaphysical outcomes, which we consider prohibited services (see below).
Metaphysical services may not be sold in our marketplace. Examples of prohibited metaphysical services include:
I’m an herbalist with over 30 years of experience and I don’t sell any of my many topical formulations or teas on ETSY because of the rules/medical claim issues. TBH herbalist are often targeted for “practicing medicine without a license” which is why I only do that kind of “work” in person with the backing of a licensed MD. (State laws)
The reality is you can’t claim the “treatment”properties of any item you sell on ETSY. You can say an item is made with Lavender oil, not that is anti-fungal, aids with sleep or calms anxiety.
Services have to produce a tangible item. So rituals and divination readings (Tarot, Oracle, Bones) are also not permitted without providing “something tangible” through video or email. Although many ignore this, as a general search quickly proves.
Legally ETSY has to protect the public from ineffective and sometimes dangerous products. In their defense, I have seen some gnarly herbal concoctions being sold to drink, smoke or “moisturize” without adequate warnings and/or information on possible drug interactions/side effects. There is a very real risk there, and the laws are strict.
