How to get ahold of tech support

Trying to send a message for tech support to contact me. Having trouble with my shop policies. Why can't I access a shipping policy I posted in 2023?  Can't find a tab to edit or delete it anywhere.  Trying to fill out a email request comes back with a NULL screen. So frustrated there is no easy way to contact a person in tech support. Any ideas?  HELP!

Are you trying to edit a shipping profile from the shipping page? Or are you talking about the shipping blurb that is in the bottom of the shop page under policies?

Some sellers who have had issues with shipping profiles have had luck recreating the profile & reattaching it to a listing. 

If you're trying to edit the shop shipping policy on your shop page, you need to click the "edit shop" button which is under your banner on the far left side. The scroll all the way down to edit policies.

I have seen the NULL message when trying to contact support before too. I had bookmarked a contact link & it started giving the NULL error. So I clicked through the help pages maze & basically started from scratch to get the email/call back options.

So back in 2023, I had updated info in the shipping policy section. Now when I try to edit policies, either from edit shop on home page or going in through shop manager and shipping policies, it's not even in shipping policies to edit. It shows up on home page policies but disappears when I go to edit.  I can't even access it. It's like all I can edit is Etsy's options.  I don't even see FAQs about my shop anymore. I understand now why I've seen some sellers have long FAQs after item descriptions on their listings. Etsy is always changing things without fixes. I am about ready to exit this platform I'm so frustrated. I'm done trying to contact them.  It's a runaround.  They make enough not worry about sellers and have thrown us to the AI bots.

Etsy took away our ability to write our own policies. You now can only select from their dropdown menu of pre-written policies.

Ive been pulling my hair out of getting help from Etsy tonight, I think they've shifted to AI in Chat.

I know it's not helpful to you right now but sending you big hugs and hope you get somewhere.

There used to be more ways to reach etsy support, but now I'm not able to send a help request or receive a call back and my chat gets no response anymore.  I'm told to just wait for an email that hasn't arrived yet...

I wish I had more to help but all I have is empathy for you.

3 months ago I had a stellar Etsy Chat that solved my problems.

recently though, not so much..I was very nice and cordial during Etsy chat but I got "hung up" on three times. they didn't look at my previous Etsy chat screenshots that I provided (until I told them to) then they said "Oh sorry, I see you sent a screenshot"

I honestly think they have shifted to AI chat and if AI deems they can't solve a problem, they apologize and send you another AI bot.

my last message to chat was "chat customer service is not helping, the chat bots have not been able to answer my questions" with a reply "I am sorry chat bots were not able to help" I mean  that sounds like an AI answer.

I even had my partner read my Etsy chat and he was so confused at what Etsy was responding to me.

I sent an email last week and have yet to hear back. It isn't the first time. It seems like there is no way to communicate with a real person anymore. And with no explanation on Etsy's part.
