How long does it take Etsy to re-verify your business documentation?

One of my shops got suspended tonight while they attempt to re-verify documentation. I am puzzled because the warnings did not go away immediately, even though I submit the information they asked. For instance, my name changed legally so I corrected that but within a minute was still getting the same warning asking me to validate my information again. Do old warning messages just hang around and not clear, making it look as if Etsy did not get the documents you just sent over?  How do you know if somebody has actually reviewed what you sent?

I don't think a human ever sees it--the entire thing is being run by bots. Some people are verified within a couple of days and the gamete runs from there to never. About all you can do is wait it out.

Do you have the yellow box that won't go away after uploading documents?

Try clicking the confirm button again.

It will take you through several additional pages.

The first is confirming that your info is correct.

The second one confirms whether or not you use prduction partners. 

The third confirms that you follow local laws if you sell to places like the EU.

Once you click through those additional screens, the yellow alert goes away and your shop should show as verified.

The yellow alert not disappearing after you upload your documents is confusing, because there is nothing to indicate that there are 3 more steps to the process.

It just looks like a glitch announcement that won't go away.

You need to click on the yellow box a 2nd time to finish the verification process and protect your shop from deactivation.
