I would love to know how to fix this issue I’m having, it saying my holiday mode isn’t working on the app and says to contact Etsy support but I can’t find anything on Etsy support to help me but on the website it will let me switch it but it won’t save. Its been like this since start of august and I had to go on holiday while people are placing order and I have messages them but it’s coming up to Christmas and I would love to put it on holiday mode until new year so I can have a break and no one can place order because I don’t want anyone waiting until next year. The items won’t be send out until Royal Mail open again. please someone help me! I would really appreciate it
stupid question, but when you switch it onto holiday mode, are you also clicking "save" at the bottom of the page?
Try it in a different browser, should be a black tab at the bottom with save in it

It doesn’t even come up the save button

I’ve try different one like goggle ect and it won’t switch, it won’t stay on for me to click save
Log out of Etsy via your browser.
Clear your cookies, history etc..
Restart your computer, then log back into Etsy via your browser
I’ve try all that, I’ve try everything and it still isn’t working and it’s really frustrating
Might be able to get Etsy to give you a call back, unless you have live chat active in your dashboard.
I can't think why it is not appearing for you.
This a link to Etsy call back option
I will save that link for this to happen again or any other problems thank you so much, I appreciate it
you are very welcome @CraftedbyAbbieAllen , hope it gets fixed quickly for you.
Use a browser instead of the app.
I’ve done that multiple time and it still doesn’t work
go to
listings
select all
deactivate,
then all your listings are inactive and no-one can buy, you can re-activate them after your break.
....
Not sure why you can't turn vacation mode on, I can do it in a browser, I use chrome
settings - options - holiday mode
put in an auto reply
click from
Off Your shop is active
to
On Your shop is on holiday
and save
Sorry, Crafty - I don't recommend deactivating listings unless it's a dire emergency, in lieu of Vaca mode. Items disappear from faves lists, and social media links. If you are planning on returning, Vaca mode will allow people to view and fave your listings thru sold, review, faves, cart, & social media links.
* I'm pretty sure @cindylouwho2 stated this at some point
thank you so much for that information, I really appreciate it so much. I don’t understand it even and it’s so frustrating because I try updating the app and doing it on different browsers on website and still haven’t worked.
I deactivated all mine apart from my pattern, for 10 weeks in the summer - due to a broken wrist,
It took a couple of weeks, then they were back to where they were before.
@CraftyCornishMaids @CraftedbyAbbieAllen Yes, @PillowDetails is correct - deactivating is much worse for your shop than holiday mode. That one shop did it and bounced back is irrelevant.
However, since the OP is wanting to risk holiday mode anyway, and had no other options, it would be a last resort solution.
OP, below you state that holiday mode worked, but your shop is not currently on vacation; I see 6 listings.
Well, you're not on Vaca mode yet. There can be a delay. If you've tried it on the Seller app, and on a desktop (with SAVE SETTINGS at the bottom of that page, then maybe give it some time. Did you remember to change your Announcement of when you'll re-open, and also set up an auto-reply for messages?
If you are not seeing the SAVE button, even if you scroll down that page - maybe try zooming out your window view with [Ctrl] - (minus sign) untill it appears?
Thank you so much! I’ve just try that and it’s worked! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I was getting so frustrated with it because I struggled with my mental health and when I go on holiday I don’t have to worry about it.
