Can anybody help me? I recently just started my store and when Etsy keeps asking me to confirm my bank details they take money out of my account and can’t put it back in. I can’t find an email or number to contact to get this sorted. I’ve tried three times to confirm my bank details and now I have no money because they will not refund it. Has anyone else had this problem and if so do you know how to fix it or if I can get in contact with someone?

Are you sure it was from Etsy. Did they ask for your email. If so, then it was a scam.
I suspect you have been scammed. The message was NOT from Etsy. Etsy collects all the information they need to process your sales during the shop setup process, and if they do need further information they will put a message on your shopfront, they will never request your email address, they already have it, you gave it to them when you registered for your shop.
These scammers have been targeting new sellers on sites like Etsy and pretend to be the site Admin needing information to verify your accounts. If you gave them your bank details, contact your bank immediately and ask them to freeze your accounts, so that the scammers can't get any more of your money. They should have an anti-fraud section that can advise you further.
I'm so sorry this has happened to you. Please call your bank immediately and get your card cancelled. Tell them what happened and we if there's anything they can do traverse the fraudulent transactions.
When you verify your bank account through your shop manager Etsy makes a small deposit to your bank account, then you need to enter the amount of that deposit in the payment settings page of your shop manager. They don't take money.
My shops been running for a few weeks now. I've had bout 20 requests to verify my bank details. I fell for the first one. All of them are in my spam now. But suddenly etsy are telling I need to verify my account and they are depositing a small amount. Is this normal? After all I've been running for weeks with paying their sellers fees for ads etc. Can anyone help.
Etsy does do this, but it's normally less than £1, and it's verifying BANK account, and it's a DEPOSIT
and you can do it from the dashboard on your shop, on etsy,
....
the scams get you to click off etsy, and ask for card number ( not bank account), and also ask for hundreds of pounds PAYMENT
@CatherinesCardShop how are they communicating with you? If it's via Etsy Messages then it's a scam. If you need to verify your bank account there should be a notification on your shop manager dashboard (that's the overview page). You can also look on your finances page. The bank verification process is done through the shop manager - don't click on links that take you off-site.
As stated, you were scammed. Was the initial message in the "from etsy" section of your inbox? If not, it is NOT ETSY that asked for that money, and NOT ETSY that took your money.
Contact your bank and report fraud.
Unfortunately you have been scammed. Secure your bank accounts immediately, the scammers are cleaning out sellers' accounts.
Etsy setup information should only be entered through the menu on Shop Manager pages when logged in, never from links on emails or messages.

This is a scam. Sadly, you will never get your money back.
@CaledoniatheBrand
There is a “From Etsy” folder/section in messages. All messages that are really/truly from Etsy, will appear in your Inbox AND in the “From Etsy” folder/section. If a message is NOT in the “From Etsy” folder/section, then it is NOT from Etsy. That’s why the “From Etsy” section exists. So you can tell if a message is from Etsy or a scammer.
@CatherinesCardShop yes it is normal for you to verify your bank account with the small deposit.
This happened to me last night . All I wanted to do is set my shop up
