Hello, I had a problem with a message from Etsy

I'm a new seller here, my shop is roughly 2 weeks old and I had a message from Etsy. 

The email ( conversations@mail.etsy.com )  that I received says that: Etsy Conversation with From Assist. I thought that the email address is from Etsy and I opened it. It said that my shop will be suspended unless I type my financial data there. I didn't fill out the form, but next time when I wanted to open that message in the Etsy app the message wasn't there. Now I don't know what to do. Do you think it was a fake email or I did something wrong?

Sounds like it was a scam. Unless the Etsy message is in the section “Etsy messages” just mark them as spam. New sellers are targeted by scammers.

Etsy has probably removed it if it was flagged as spam

There's a lot of scamming going on, especially with  new shops. Any legit message from etsy will be in your message area under the category "from etsy".

When someone contacts you through messages on Etsy YOU will get an email notification from Etsy that someone on Etsy has sent you a message. That conversation email address from Etsy is legit. That is how you are notified when have a message on Etsy or an order.

The problem is that message "From Assist" is what is NOT legit.  It's a scam and Etsy removed it.
Etsy would never ever ask you to fill out any form regarding your account.

Anytime anything needs updating on your account, it will be posted on your dashboard and/or finance pages.
If it's not there, it's a scam.

There's also this info right on the message page below a message and right above where you type a reply:
"To stay protected, stay on Etsy. Never follow links to other sites, and don’t share contact, account, or financial info with anyone in Messages. Learn how to spot spam."
