I have reopened my shop and Etsy charged me for listing of the items still in it. I tried to edit one of the paintings but it would not let me activate the listing after I made the changes. Message at the top to contact Etsy which I did. 2 days later I got email from Etsy to evaluate their help. No help with the problem. I also read in the forum that f you click on the listing on the active page: the little round wheel at the bottom, edit the item , it would let you list it. Not so. Does anyone have the phone number or way to get real help from Etsy?
Etsy Support is really backed up now; check here to see if your ticket is still open: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/requests?segment=selling
if not, open another one. Try this path: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_missing_listing-contact_select and when you get the automated email response, read it all, as some of them require you to reply "I still need help" to keep the ticket open.
@snidersvintagefinds Go to Shop Manager - Listings, filter to sold out, inactive, whatever - do NOT click on the listing (while this glitch is ongoing) - click the gear icon to renew / activate. Then it will be active, and you should be able to open and edit, save.
Another option is to use the gear icon and select the Copy feature. This will be a brand new listing without the sales history, but you should be able to edit and publish.
