Not Sure if this is the right place, if not could someone point me in the right direction. We just learned that someone high jacked our account and was selling items that we don't even sell, come to find out the person that hacked our account was scamming people, we didn't lose money out of our bank, but this idiot also hacked into our square account (which we also have an investigation into). I'm just looking for information on who to contact to get an investigation into this matter started.
Hello,
I've forwarded your concerns to our support team, and your case is being worked on as we speak - Moving forward, they will handle it directly with you, so please stay tuned to your email as they may reach out through there.
On a related note, our Help Center has a dedicated page for such situations and you can find it here.
Thank you!
Make sure you change your password and set up 2 factor authentication. Make sure all devices are logged out except the one you are currently using (look under security in your main user settings). Make sure your bank account and credit card details have not been changed.
Make sure to notify a cyber crime unit even if just to file a report. Make sure to change all passwords from a clean computer. If you have not run anti-virus do so. You may need to have computer professionally cleaned.
Set up 2fa.
Alert your bank.
Thanks for all the reply's, unfortunately since no money was actually taken out our bank can't do much, we did invoke the 2-factor authentication, to ensure this doesn't happen again, I guess I'm trying to figure out how to get Etsy involved to get an investigation started, because the Etsy Help center doesn't have a help section on what has happened to us.
@TOKAChanceDesigns I'm really sorry this happened to you. Too much of it going on lately, it's concerning.
@FabioMcMustache Can you please help this Seller (another hacked account). Thank You in advance.
Will Etsy even help? Or will they say it is your issue from your computer being hacked?

@FabioMcMustache - Thank you for your help, this is exactly what I have been looking for, and of course as soon as I found out what had happened, password got changed and 2FA got put into place.
