Forum Posts nesting under wrong comments

When I reply to a comment to nest underneath,

it nests under the last reply, not the comment I am replying to.

I thought it was just me, but I have seen other posters now, saying the same thing,

so it appears to be more of a wider issue, than an individual issue

can it be fixed please

Should be sorted by Topics to nest correctly.

it looks like you are doing it correctly, until you go back and check, and it hasn't put it under brad at all, but the last one

And this is supposed to nest under your post, but probably won't.  We will see....

Go to the Options black text, with arrow top right of this thread, and click, see if it says "sort by topics". If not click it.

Seriously, I think it's changed the sort on you guys.

Top right of this thread, "options" with an arrow, click it and make sure it says "sort by topics"

thank you, that seems to have fixed it,

very strange it was happening to a few of us,

and the posts were indented under the wrong ones

... using chrome, windows 10

@CraftyCornishMaids because if it's sorted by oldest to newest or newest to oldest, it just shows the posts in date/time order regardless of nest.

Thats why sort by topics = nested correctly.

I've had this changed randomly on me once before.

I think you can set it under your forum avatar - my settings.

Also, when someone replies to a comment, the person who posted the comment cant reply back to them, that's super annoying. I stopped commenting on things because someone can reply with totally wrong info underneath you and then you cant even reply to it to correct them!

Weird.  I tried @CappuccinoLace suggestion on Safari, it didn't fix it.

Tried in on Chrome, and it worked.

Safari hasn't been working well with Etsy for the last few weeks.
