Our business has been with Etsy for over 15 years. We have not had a lot of technical issues to deal with. We just were informed we needed to update our Govenrment ID. We did and Etsy forced vacation mode because it said the government id doesnt match. They somehow how my business LLC name in the Business owners name. They even informed me to just change it. We attempt to with their directions and get "there was an error saving your taxpayer information please try again". We have tried from many computers, phones, and other devices. We informed Etsy about this and many times we got a repsonse of how to change our name. We know how to change the name! We have gotten zero help on this matter. One person said they have escaleted this to above and they will get back with me. Which still no word back after many days! We even have 2 other shops and they are good. This is our oldest account and they added all of our items to it when they added these new requirements! Its not like we put them in wrong. So our account is on forced vacation and we are losing money each passing day during what would be our busy time. And yes we have been a star seller.
Anyone else go through this and how did you get it fixed?
