For Etsy techies and people alike

Jump to solution

Dear Etsy, this is the hardest time for us sellers, purchases are so low and on top of that, technical issues are not helping the situation (yes, I wrote to the Etsy agent about this problem, but nothing has changed)

This has been happening to me for quite some time and if anyone else is experiencing this too, please let me know (I have a print screen of the screen)

- morning time 8.20 - Views 78
- time 9.37 - Views 80
- time 9.52 - Views 37 (this is probably the Matrix)
- time 10.31 - Views 65

So I don't know if I live in the Matrix, that the more views at the beginning, the less an hour later.

And one more problem that I have been solving for more than half a year, but it is still not solved, when I send a customer's package, I ALWAYS give the tracking number, which is recorded in the shipments, but in the title it shows me and also for the customer "No tracking" even after delivery. I don't know if anyone else has such a problem. And yes, I have written about it countless times with etsy agents, who always answer me that the technicians are solving it..really? more than half a year?

The  view count will change over time. Etsy periodically strips out "bot views" -- ie false views. So the adjusted number is a more correct number of views by actual people

As for the tracking showing incorrectly -- Etsy uses a company called Aftership to check tracking. If the company you use to send your parcels is not connected to Aftership, Etsy counts it as no tracking. They will not check the company website for information. If you go to Aftership's website you will be able to check the list of companies it can track

Thanks for the explanation regarding the tracking of shipments, every single Etsy Agent checked it and every single one said that yes, they have it on the list in cooperation, so they see it as a technical problem.

It might be on etsys list,

It doesn't mean it's on Afterships list - check there

For a long rime, Etsy even provided us with royal Mail labels on etsy, all entered correctly, but as Royal Mail wasn't tracked by aftership, it didn't work.
