This is a banner on my dashboard with a link to "review details" but when I click on it, takes me to the "uh oh! sorry the page you are looking for can not be found"
Anyone else?
A few months back I did have a prompt to update all my info and I was able to do so (nothing needed adjusting) without any of the headaches others have or are currently dealing with.
Yep, they keep showing this message on my dashboard, and I keep getting that same "uh oh!" message.
I am getting the same sentence regarding "review your....etc" Clicking on it gives the uh-oh answer.....What gives. I have not seen anyone solve this problem! ETSY, get on the ball!
Here's what I found from https://www.freshbooks.com/hub/taxes/etsy-1099#:~:text=Under%20the%20current%20threshold%2C%20Etsy,E...
"For the year 2024, businesses selling goods on Etsy need to receive and report their 1099-K earnings on their federal tax return when their gross payment amounts are more than $5,000 USD per year. There is no longer a minimum number of transactions required for 1099-K reporting.
When you consider the 1099-K form eligibility for your shop, it’s important to keep in mind the following as an independent contractor:
That's all well and good, but it has nothing to do with the problem of trying to verify our information on a broken link.
I just went into my settings and entered everything as is (it's all correct) and "verified" it all again. Still getting the message.
It's time Etsy clarified this!!!!

US Sellers have always had to report ALL sales to the IRS, no matter the 1099-K threshold.
Yup, link is still broken, thats ok cause I know they are busy the other really important issues here on Etsy.
I agree with ClarabellasEtsyShop about when the gross payment amounts are more than $5,000 USD per year.
Funny that the 1099-K Settings on my Shop Manager still has the statement Etsy shop owners who use Etsy Payments to process over $600 in gross sales will get a 1099.
Merry Christmas.
Don't know if I trust Etsy with my social security number. They will probably be the next big site to get hacked/leaked.
I have had my SS# listed with them since opening this shop in 2010 and nothing has happened so far.
Can't say the same for my hospital as it has been hacked TWICE in that same time frame.
@nikotwenty You have no choice if you’re in the US.
Not only that--my daughter has worked in both insurance and as a PI since graduating and she told me she can easily get anybody in the US SS# if she needs to within about 30 seconds. Since being told that I don't worry too much anymore--just keep an eye out with Experian.
I also have this message and also get error message. As I have never used credit and everything I have is paid for no one wants my social. No credit is far worse than bad credit. So I'm just living my " no worries" life.
You can get to the page directly and if Etsy is waiting for verification then there will be a submit button there.
Go to: Shop Manager - Finances - Legal & Tax Information - Check all is okay there - Scroll down to Additional Tax Info and enter your tax number there.
If there is no submit button there either then I guess you just have to wait to see if it is a glitch or you get suspended!! Eeek!
