Featured listings does not work

Hi, a couple weeks ago I tried to change what I had in featured listings. After I made unwanted ones go away, it will not let me add new featured listings. The button on shop manager page is grayed out and useless. I tried chatting with Etsy but got no help. Any advice?

have you tried clearing your cache?

If you are on mobile, updating the ap? (the ap is pretty useless for shop maintenance IMO).

I do know that featured listings take a long few minutes to update & it has been that way for a while now for me in both firefox & chrome.

From what I've read in the forum it hasn't worked properly for months.

I'd give up and just move the listings that you want to feature to the top row.

I'm persistent so I have spent quite a bit of time on this. I have learned that when it does work, the new placements take some time before they eventually show up. It could be several minutes.

I had luck with it when I wrote down the ones I already had, then wrote down the ones I wanted to have. Then I went to quick edit and used that to change the stars. It took about an hour for it to show up with the new ones.
