Featured Listings Glitch THAT NEVER GETS RESOLVED, WHY?

The fact that this issue continues to be an issue is maddening as is the pathetic Etsy resolution or lack thereof.

1.  Edits and changes not updating.

2.  New added Featured Listings not available to choose.

3.  Snails pace updated or refreshed edits.

I've got a novel idea, how about you focus on and RESOLVE with finality this ongoing bug?  Maybe allocate a portion of that 12% forced marketing fee towards a robust team effort to fix this valuable shop tool?

This is a reasonable ask Etsy so please give it the attention it deserves!

Maybe they are giving it the attention they feel it deserves?
Possibly, it's one of those things that isn't going to make Etsy any money, so they don't put any effort (money) into fixing it.

They should just do away with it, though.

There are a lot of bugs here and probably not enough time and people to resolve them all so etsy probably has to consider them and decide which ones are most important and timely and work on those first.  It's frustrating but this one might not be a priority to etsy so it could be a while longer before it gets better.  

It's also possible that it can't be fixed. There are many things that can not be fixed or will never be fixed due to lack of interest in fixing them, lack of resources to fix them, or that it is just impossible to fix them for whatever reason.  

Despite what some sellers say, I do think etsy pays some attention to what people are talking about in the forums.  So hopefully they see this and know this is still an ongoing issue for some sellers.

Since I found most  of my buyers  don't visit the shop home page, I no longer use the featured.  It saves space.

As a buyer I ignore the featured usually.  Seldom have I found it useful if I am looking for a specific topic.  

However you may need to choose the featured listings by using the new template and selecting only four to be shown.

I, too, am beyond frustrated with this problem! I like the featured listings and have used it since it became available. I have tried to use this feature for days with zero success! When I ended a sale, all my listings reverted to original price, except featured listings. I deleted all four and have not been able to feature any item for days!!

This has been happening for some time now. It's awful!

I like the featured listings.  I think they are very useful when you have a wide variety of items in your shop.  I only sell cross stitch patterns, but they vary greatly, so the featureds show instantly that not everything is cats or whatever.

Bottom line is it worked before and should work NOW. Like the glitchy thumbnail adjuster that has been broken for at least 2 YEARS after working  for years. They should be embarrassed. I can't even load a photo via the app anymore.

So many things Etsy needs to fix like this and also getting rid of old shop updates, making Etsy compatible with Safari browser....
