Favorite shop updates

Hello,

I get a notification that someone has added my store to their favorite store selection, but there is no update when I go to my store page. Therefore, I would like to know if anyone is experiencing the same problem and if there is a solution to fix it.

You have 4 people who have faved your shop. If you click on that you can see who they are.

Presuming that something else is not broken, due to server side caching some pages do not seem to update right away. All you can do is wait.

Not sure what kind of update you're looking for? I don't get notifications for this, but I can see any likes or favorites under the recent activity in my dashboard.

It's also possible someone accidentally clicked to favorite your shop that didn't intend to, then realized and unclicked it. I've definitely hit that button on accident before.

The number of shop admirers tends to fluctuate, so it could be that one person was added and another one unfavorited the shop around the same time.   Also, it could've been one admirer who had already fav'd your shop but, in order to keep your shop at the top of their list, they unfav'd and then re-faved it.

eta - As audreytherese says, one admirer could have accidentally clicked the button.   I've done it myself too and then feel bad that the seller will still get the notification but, if they check my favs, they won't see their shop.

@audreytherese The OP means that the # of admirers showing on their shop didn't increase despite getting the notification on their dashboard.

Ah, thank you. I don't know much about it. I know people like and favorite things for a variety of reasons (could be another shop that wants to make their own items similar to what I'm making), so unless it's actually a sale, I pay no attention to the rest of what they show me.
