Etsy won't let me add items to cart

Every time I try to add an item to my cart, it tells me that there was an error adding item to cart. It's for every store every seller.. No matter what I do. I checked to see if the app needed and update and it did . I updated the app, and nothing changed. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and nothing changed. Please help!

@BleedingHeartCurio Even though you've reinstalled the app, have you tried to power off your phone entirely, leave it for a minute, and then start it back up again?

Are there any updates available for your phone?

Are you using an iPhone or Android phone?

I did try turning it off and turning it back on again. No change. There are no current updates for my phone either. I have Android, Google pixel 7A

I had someone yesterday in another shop message me that the checkout wouldn't accept their payment method(s). She tried again later and eventually it went through, but I could have lost a sale there. NOT good Etsy!

Etsy has  made so many changes and causing all kinds of problems, it's ridiculous.  But the worst is hundreds of shops are having items deactivated illegitimately. The bots have gone crazy.

I'm on a computer and having the same problem. Rebooted but did not fix it. I changed from Safari to Chrome browser and was finally able to view cart.

I ran into the same problem over the weekend, and was finally able to place my order. Now, I’m having the same problem trying to place another order! Not an easy fix- what’s going on?
