I’ve had two listings removed by Etsy that state they are not handmade.
I’ve also gotten the chance to receive star seller removed because of this.
MY ITEMS ARE HANDMADE. AliExpress sellers stole my photos and make a cheap design of my product.
I contacted Etsy support the first time they removed it and receive zero reply. I relisted my necklace and they removed it again and now my star seller badge is gone and I cannot receive it again.
what do I even do? The necklace is 100% handmade by me. Fast fashion sellers stole MY pictures.
So let me get this straight, you only had two listings in your shop? Exactly what did Etsy say?
How did you have star seller with no sales? Do you have another shop?
Are you talking about another shop? This shop you are posting from has no sales in 5 years, what's the name of your shop that keeps getting the listings removed from?
Color me confused. This shop or another? You cannot have star seller without sales. I found one named KsweenJewelry. Is that one yours?
If Aliexpress has taken your photos then you need to file a DMCA with the host for removal of the photos and then tell ETsy you have requested removal. Unfortunately sellers need to be proactive in protecting their IP.
It would have been appreciated if you had posted from your actual shop
What shop?

You relisted an item that was already taken down by Etsy ... that was a huge mistake ... you should never relist something without Etsy approval. If you cannot get an approval reply from them, you need to keep trying by responding to their first message to you by saying "I still need help". If you did that, and still did not get a reply, sometimes it just takes a while (could be several weeks). But never keep sending new messages to Etsy because each one just gets put at the back of the pile. As for your Star Seller, I'm sorry it got pulled away from you! If you have multiple Etsy shops, be sure add verbiage to both your shops ABOUT sections so that you are abiding by Etsy policy ... transparency is key! And when you have an issue, be sure to post from that shop so forum members can help you the best.
How did you get Etsy approval? All my items are handmade. I have had 4 deactivations by bots, and three reinstated.

"If you have more than one Etsy account, you must list all of them in the Public Profile section of each account."
First, you need to find all of the sites that have stolen your photos and file DMCA take downs against them. It is your intellectual property, and you have to enforce it to maintain those rights.
Etsy now has bots that compare listing photos to wholesale sites. If they find your photo there they will assume you are reselling and remove your item.
Contact Etsy with proof your item is handmade and proof you've had those other listings taken down. Perhaps they will change their mind.
Alternately, take new photos with watermarking and use those in new listings. Be vigilant for thieves of those photos so you can get them taken down before it gets out of hand and they are everywhere again.
Good luck.
Did you ever have a resolution to this? My handmade listing was reported by scammers and I have gotten no reply from Etsy.
Start a new topic if you're looking for suggestions and advice on this issue. It causes a lot of confusion and people spend a lot of unnecessary time responding to months old comments. There are many forum users who have been through this & can offer advice, but most won't post on zombie threads as admins are likely to come along and close them anyway.
This thread has been dead for months, why revive it.
I asked for Ksweenwraps if she ever saw an update. This is the most "recent" I found in the forum and literally curious to know what happened in her situation.
you can literally go to her shop and see there is nothing there, it was probably just another drop shipping store. Anyway I will not start an argument here, have a good day. Sorry if it sounded rude !
Yeah, I understand what the thought process is, but it's just better and less confusing if you post a general topic asking if anyone has experienced the problem (they have, LOTS of people have), and what, if any, resolution they received. Zombie threads (revived topics from months to years old) are a constant source of confusion and consternation on these forums, and the forum admins usually shut them down after they're flagged or noticed. I only mention this because you've revived 2 zombie threads today, basically looking for the same information, and it will be more helpful to you, and less confusing to others, if you just create a new topic. No offense intended, just trying to help.
