Whenever I click on an order from within the orders page, the entire page scrolls to the top. I chatted with Etsy customer service about 2 weeks ago and they did the normal "clear your cookies/cache", but nothing seems to work. They said they are submitting the issues to the technical team for review. I haven't heard a single thing from them since.
I am posting because the last thread seems to be lost in the sea of discussions. Can anyone tell me if they are still having this problem? Also are there people out there that are not experiencing this issue? If so please reply. Maybe it's only a handful of people and Etsy isn't paying much attention?
Hello,
Our technical team is aware of and investigating this potential issue. Thank you.
Here's one of a number of threads that have been posted on the issue.
According to the numerous threads this has not been resolved and we still have it. Presumably you are posting here because you also still have it.
I have chatted up Etsy Support again this morning. This issue is terribly urgent, and I'm told again that it's been escalated. No relief in sight. It's not an issue if you only have a few orders in queue, but if you've got 20, 30 or more ........... whoooooo boy. It's a NASTY bug. ://////
Yep! Sooooo annoying!
"Can anyone tell me if they are still having this problem?
Yes, Still a problem for me.
My "Open Orders" section it is now working back to normal. The "Completed" order section is not. They're at least working on it! Anyone else have a report???
Hello,
I got word back from our technical support team - The issue with the Open and In Progress tabs has been fixed. Regarding the Completed tab, this is still being worked on.
As soon as we receive an update, we'll let y'all know.
Hi you closed my topic. I am not getting any help through the ticketing system. Can you please open it again. Thanks
@IllustrateIreland
It's working fine again on BOTH the Open orders and Completed orders pages, on my end. Another poster on another thread suggested the fix is taking time to roll out across Etsyland. This makes sense. I hope it reaches you soon.
Hi
when I doing the orders if I go into an order halfway down the screen is always jumps back up to the top of the page to the first order, can you stop this happening? Its really annoying as you lose your place? Thanks in advance.
The tech team rereleased this bug tonight. The order page scrolls back up to the top which is a nightmare for sellers this time of year. If there is any way to expedite the patch, that would be huge.
This is an active problem again
Hi, this is happening again.
Sorry to bother you but is there any possible way that you can let the technical team know that this is happening again. Many of us have reached out to support about it but so far it's not been fixed or even addressed anywhere. It's been doing the scroll to the top of page thing again for at least a week now. Thanks.
Hi
There has beens some recent change in Etsy that means when I doing the orders if I go into an order halfway down the screen is always jumps back up to the top of the page to the first order, can you stop this happening? Its really annoying as you lose your place? Thanks in advance.
Same here. When clicking on an order.....the orders page will scroll/jump all the way back up to the top. Please fix.
Same problem here. It's a terrible user experience for sellers.
It is AWFUL. I have already messaged the wrong customer because it jumped from the order I clicked on to the top of the page order. Please fix this ASAP. I know many will likely print the wrong label for the wrong order , like I almost did.
Just chiming in to report that it's happening again on my end as well as of 11/21/22 at 1:42pm.
Again
This problem is causing me to take 4 hours a day to collect customers photos for their personalised orders it normally takes me 1 hour. This bug is causing huge productivity problems to the point where I am having to extend my processing time and Etsy is going to get less customers/less fees for them. This needs to be sorted as soon as possible Black Friday will be even worse.
Something i do, rather than scroll down each time, once i've got the top customers image i move it to in progress, then once i have done all i need to do i move them to new and go through it again, its a bit of extra work but beats scrolling
This problem is happening again.. and during the busiest time of the year!
It's so annoying when you have hundreds of orders open. Such a waste of scrolling time!
