Etsy messages not working

11.20.2022 Hello, Any one else having problems sending Etsy messages, & customer not receiving it? 

I sent Etsy messages to customer twice today neither did she receive. I sent her an email she received it fine. [ She did email reply she has bought off Etsy several times not having this issue; so she does know how to get her msg's.]

I tried Etsy Help. The Help button does not work any longer. The contact us tab just comes up;Etsy Help Center - click onto Selling on Etsy  - Get Help ( None of this refers to what I need. What happened to Etsy Support Chat tab? )

also My customer emailed me: Hi, I clicked on that link that you sent and it said that I am trying to review a receipt that does not belong to me. I still have nothing in my notes or anything like that. I don’t know what I would be doing wrong because I’ve purchased several things before and haven’t had a problem.

Here it is Holiday time, & my customers aren't receiving there messages from us. As we need to communicate to customers, we do Personalizations & custom orders. This is very Concerning Etsy!

I'm afraid there could be lots of reasons why your customer is not receiving messages via Etsy.

1. Perhaps they are not logged into their Etsy account. (This would also explain the message above relating to the invoice)
2. Perhaps they have logged into a different Etsy account. (some people set up new accounts in error rather than logging into their existing account)
3. Perhaps they don't know where to find the messages once logged into their Etsy account.
4. If they don't log in regularly and and they don't have the notification set to receive an email when they get a message then they will not know that you messaged them.
5. Perhaps it is a bug - but I would only assume this if all other possibilities have been eliminated.

For urgent queries with an existing buyer for an open order, it may be beneficial to email as well, just to let them know you sent a message via Etsy. Try to keep all correspondence regarding the order on Etsy messages though.

1) Customer did sign into their Etsy acct. my message did not appear;strange thing is; she Etsy messaged me on the same continued Etsy msg I sent Twice to her yesterday. Neither msg I sent via Etsy msg. did she receive. but I receive her Etsy msgs'. I had to send her emails for her to respond to my question regarding her order.

2) she did sign into same acct. I receved info from her. For some strange reason she does Not see my Etsy msgs I send her.

3&4) When we do not hear from customer via Etsy msg. & needing answers to their order, I do send the customer an email giving instructions how to sign into Etsy, & get to Their Account then to Etsy msg...

How am I suppose to get Support Help? to get this issue resolved.

This happened last Christmas too and back in August when the orders page kept jumping to the top of the screen. I'm guessing they stopped or started some test and this is the end result. Just a guess, but seems logical.
